    Good morning Woo and all,

    What a lovely start to the day Woo,it's magic out there first thing isn't it:blue thumb:...

    It looks to be a day to definitely take it easy everyone,it's already 18 degrees out there:dancy:...
    Fancy playing tennis in this heat:doh: it's got to be easier to sit and eat Strawberries instead so that's what I shall do:biggrin:...

      Moyra, I hope you're feeling better this morning. I think you'll need to get your walk in early today as it's going to be rather warm later on. :smile:

      Woo, don't get too many little insects up your nose when sniffing the roses. Our flowers are covered in them!

      The forecast says 27C today but, for at least a week, they've been underestimating it by quite a bit. Yesterday reached 82F (28C) according to our weather station in our main garden. 'They' said it reached only 24C!

      I had the sprinkler on the new flower bed for hours yesterday. The plants were suffering from the heat. As the soil is a mixture of wood chippings (from the tree stumps that were there), some soil, compost and horse manure it doesn't seem to retain the moisture very well - but the plants are looking very well on it.

      It's going to be rather warm at the bridge club this afternoon and even hotter there tomorrow night :hate-shocked:

              Another scorcher here today, too hot in the sun already. Not complaining though. Will get the sprinklers on then sit in the shade with a good book :biggrin:

                      Just sitting in a nice cool breeze, having a raspberry ice lolly and a spritzer.

                      I have finished cleaning the conservatory on the outside, next time I will not let get so grubby:nonofinger:

                      Got everything made for a salad, no cooking for me tonight, just healthy eating:wow::roflol:.

                      Hope everyone has a good evening, my bedroom is nice and cool, hopefully for a good night

                          Just poking my head in....just got back from Toronto and am heading back out again. Its another cool day here but the bright side is...no rain!!!

                          Sadly not Shiney...Kait has one more semester of University and then we are free, and can finally travel and do what we want:hapfeet:

                                It was a hot sticky night and we're set for another scorcher,aren't we getting spoilt:dancy:...

                                Watering done,bird baths topped up and had a good sniff of the roses:wub2:
                                That's enough of all this jollity :heehee:.. nice cuppa then off to the coal face:biggrin:
