            Rob Roy.......is dark red and as always it's a battle to get that to show on a photo due to the pigmentation in red roses. It has that old fashioned heady and sweet perfume that I love. :)

              Dark red Floribunda.
              Exhibition name: Rob Roy
              Bred by Alexander M. (Alec) Cocker (Scotland, 1970).
              Floribunda.
              Dark red. Mild fragrance. 30 petals. Double (17-25 petals) bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

                  Thanks Loli, it certainly looks good in it's first flush of flowers but doesn't do so well later in season.

                            I was chatting over the fence with my neighbour last week, she commented on my Rose at the front, she said it was planted in 1972, by the couple who built our house!

                            This year is the best it's ever been, I gave it plenty of pig manure earlier in the year!
                            Unfortunately I don't know the name of it.
