    Aloha everyone,

    I've finished my gardening for the day :blue thumb: and from now on I shall be ensconced indoors in the cool. :)

    The forecast here is 32C and the plants haven't been enjoying it. Droopy hanging baskets, pots and tomatoes, even with two waterings a day! The sprinkler is working hard and I'll be moving it around the garden.

    Bees are already very busy down in the veg plot. The Verbascum chaixii have now come into bloom and the bees love it. With well over 100 flower spikes and about 100 small flowers on each they are going to have a field day. :yes:

      Good morning @shiney whenever I see Aloha it always reminds me of this beautiful Rose;)

      There's very few Roses with a 10 out of 10 scent rating

      ALOHA

      Bloom Size/Large
      Scent Strength/Very Scented (10 / 10)
      Will tolerate a small amount of shade

      Very attractive to bees and wildlife

        @wiseowl that's a lovely looking rose. It seems to have a number of individual rosettes within each flower head. :blue thumb: I can almost smell it from here. :biggrin:

          A hot night, but at least the wind was blowing thru the place, along with all the bits of tree falling off, they really need some rain.

              Good morning everyone, It is pretty hot already, I must go out and water before it gets any hotter . Just taken Amber out for her run well more of a walk this morning didn't want to get her too hot. I like to see the sun but I do not appreciate heatwaves much. I am a spring and autumn person. Steve's gone to Chelmsford to tile two shower cubicles. I don't envy him one bit.

                  I hope you are all keeping well & enjoying the weather :SUNsmile:

                  Another beautiful day here :spinning:. I've got a few bits & bobs to do in the garden before I venture back out to work, well you have to get your priorities right don't you! :lunapic 130165696578242 5:.
                  Nora the hen has got over her spell of being broody, I suspect it's too hot in the coop all day!

                  We have a hedgehog visiting the garden at night :), we've seen him two nights in a row, of course I'm delighted :hapydancsmil: I've given him some cat food & water, poor little mite seemed hungry & thirsty....or just very greedy! :heehee:

                  Enjoy your day folks, be careful in this heat, I don't want any of you getting heat stroke. :grphg:

                    Hope you are keeping cool images (1).jpg , oh yes:sofa::whistle:

                    Got my gardening done by 8 a.m.

                    Sat in a lovely draught, and got all my ironing done, aided by an ice cold Cappucino, and
                    a caffelatte chocolate bar with cinnamon. download.jpg images (2).jpg

                    Got all windows open and curtains closed, billowing, so hopefully keeping everything
                    cool.

                    Keep showering, not in cold water, should be tepid.:blue thumb:

                            Hope everyone has a comfortable night,bit difficult in this heat:phew:

                            :phew: Well that was a muggy night,it was nice to get out there for a wander first thing with a cuppa to cool off a bit:coffee: there's a nice cool breeze blowing at the moment here it's lovely:wub2::blue thumb: It was way to hot at work yesterday and it's set to be the same today:thud:
