    Normally wait till August, local nursery gets Charlottes in especially for that :)

    Gotta watch the blight though

      Thanks Zigs I thought I'd have a go with 'Charlotte' as I read it's the easiest form to begin with and its also an acceptable roaster where as the other reccomended second cropping varieties are mentioned as salad potatoes...

      Anything else easy I can't go wrong growing in pots for Christmas dinner?
