    Hi GG,

    Thanks :)

Your Fuchsias aren't late at all, they should just be starting now, alot of mine are just starting to show colour in their buds.

Other Fellow, unfortunately isn't a hardy.

It's like a pale coral pink colour with a feint deeper edge to the petals. Both the tube and sepals are a nice clear white.

Just a little piccy to show the difference in sizes.
I don't think it's really possible to tell when you see individual pics.

          Fuchsia Tom West

Just to show that Fuchsias are more than brightly coloured flowers.
Tom West is grown mainly for it's variegated foliage.
When he does flower they are small red/purple Magellanica type flowers.

Thanks Jenny. It was the frilly-ness that caught my eye when I was trying to decide which ones to buy. Probably not my first choice regarding colour(s), but to me, it more than makes up with its form :)

I've heard about this happening but never had it in one of my plants before..................

The darker flowers on the left are the true ones " Helen Fahey" the paler ones on the right are where it's sported........

                  WP_20150714_003.jpg

What should I do now as I think this is something a bit different.

I was thinking about contacting someone I know who runs a Fuchsia nursery and seeing what he says.

                      Hi "M",

Thanks, I just wanted another opinion.
It really is something a bit special as it holds its flowers up erect and there aren't too many of those around, and each one that has been introduced has come about by sporting.

You would know far more about that, than I would - but I do know this - if you know it is special, then don't hesitate: good luck! Can't wait to hear more

Could we be witnessing the introduction of a new Fuchsia called 'Anthony Rogers'?
