That's exactly what i did last night, right up until the lightning and thunderstorms ;)

Thanks for the compliment though, i am massively proud of the garden so far and i just want to see what it's going to look like a year or 2 from now when it's hopefully all bedded in properly

Yea i love it... so far it's been quite heavy on the labouring (decking, sheds, landscaping) so hopefully i'm now onto the nice fun part of planting and tending to my lawn/flowers :)

I'll be sure to post some updates in the next few days... a weekend trip to my grandmothers is on the cards as she has some potted plants for me. Very excited!

Well! You certainly don't let the grass grow, do you! :heehee: (Metaphorically speaking)

It looks absolutely stunning, well done! :dbgrtmb:

The only thing I would have done differently would be with regards to the shed: I would have turned it around so the tallest side was beside the deck (great for growing a climber up) and secondly, I would have got a smaller water butt to capture all the rain that will cascade down that sloping roof (which, positioned as it is will pour onto that piece of deck). But that's just me being picky :heehee:

        Excellent job! :ccheers:

Now that does sound like a good idea... little bit of small guttering and i could run the rainwater off the roof into a second water butt. Thanks for that advice! I'll be looking into doing that this weekend :)

Thanks @Beckie76, shouldn't be too long before it's got some plants and then it should all start coming together :)

So, only a small update to the garden.

The grass has started to properly grow so i was planning on giving it the once over this weekend and i've put up some storage and shelving in the shed so that i can find things with ease.

I also planted my Passiflora climber into the ground which looks incredible, put some more Lavender into an empty corner, a couple of Celosia Caracas to pop some colour and my Hydrangea is ready to be moved from it's pot into the ground, just need to wait for the last of the flags.

Will definitely post some pictures of that once they're all in and settled!

Got myself a new DSLR camera so had a quick play tonight.

This weekend has been awash with planting and i'd say a good portion of the borders have now been filled :)

Thanks... it's made a big leap this weekend. Not long before the last of the flagging is done and then i can start with the pebbles/gravel.

                        Thank you :)

Well done, you have worked hard on this! One comment I would add relates to the Box you were planning to plant. There is Box blight here in the UK which could finish off your expensive investment. I just wanted to make you aware of the risk.

Thanks @**Yvonne** , i have read about this and a number of other potential diseases and issues surrounding Box. It sounds silly but i've always wanted one and the way i see it is that if i keep my eye on it and keep looking after it (bearing in mind that i only have a 500mm spherical box) i should be able to potentially keep it from coming to any harm.

That said, thank you for your reply, i definitely appreciate it and i'm not just glossing over what you mentioned, it's just that i love the look of Box and at the end of the day, i will be the one that checks it over regularly, trims it and keeps it in good health so the only person to blame if it does get poorly, would be myself.
