    Update!

I got a call from customer services apologising for the problem and offering me a replacement plant, which I accepted.

So, a couple of days ago, I received another stick in the post from T&M - you really could not make it up.

Here, on the left is the one that I have been nurturing since it was delivered, and on the right the 'replacement' one. I have half a mind to email their CEO to point out the stupidity of the situation, but I don't think I can be bothered. One thing is for sure, that is me well and truly finished with T&M

For balance, here are the two @pete sent me, which are coming on leaps and bounds

Have T&M given any reason why the plants are provided with a short back and sides FC? It doesn't do much for the shape of the eventual plant does it? I'd be inclined to take the shoot off the one you've been nurturing and grow that on, binning the parent plant if it takes. :)

To be honest @Sheal, I don't think the people that you speak to in the call centre have a clue what the plants are or what they should look like - they are simply there to offer replacements or refunds :dunno:

I probably should contact them again, but what is the point?

The one that has growth is also sprouting from the base, so hopefully it will then look a whole lot better.

Exactly @fat controller, you won't gain any more ground. I haven't bought any seeds from T&M for many years, they are just as bad with many failures. I've not bought plants from them either and perhaps that's just as well. :frown:

While there are customers out there that will let companies of all kinds continue to rip them off nothing will change. Boycotting them will hopefully put them out of business eventually.

image.jpg I bought 2 x Brugs - one via mail order, the other from Ebay. Both plants are doing great - nearly 3' high now and i have also taken cuttings from them, which have rooted. One came with bare roots wrapped in wet kitchen roll, the other came potted in soil. Both looked bad when they arrive but once potted, they were fine. They grow very fast.

While I do take your point, I just wanted to say ...

... well done with your nurturing! :yay: You'll soon have it in tip-top condition

I don't like giving up on plants, even when they look as though they aren't worth the trouble.... its an underdog thing

Second one is starting to respond to special measures too :)

I now need to find four mahoosive pots for them all
