It is rather a large family but there seems to be an increasing number of members here growing them now. So I thought that I would show them all off on a single thread.

Also whether it be Arum, Arisaema, Dracunculus or whatever feel free to show them off here as well.

A full list of aroids can be found here.

          Nice pics LongK.

I have several Aroids. Mostly the same as you!

          Arisaema costatum
          Sauromatum venosum
          Arisarum proboscideum
          Zantedeschia autheopica
          Zantedeschia 'Hercules'
          Arum pupureospathum (seedlings)

I've just moved into my new house so hoping to try some varieties of Arisaema in the shady part at the bottom of the garden. Do you grow Sauromatum outside? I've never been brave enough but I've got enough extras now that I might try some.

Not yet. I'll grow them on and plant one out next year. I planted this one out and lost it (I do have a small tuber left that I kept back in a pot though) - Arisaema ringens...............

            @longk,
            Nice collection of Ariseamas.
I have a handful of them too

I have also tried some of the tropical Amorphophalus and Anthuriums
But they need tropical conditions - high temps and high humidity.
Which was fine when I had a small orchid collection, but when I gave those up, I stopped with the other tropicals too.

i agree I have several clumps of it around the garden, the only thing is that quite often the blooms are hidden below the foliage.

I have Arisaema speciosum, no pics though as its gone over now. Would like to add a few more though.

I did grow Dracunculus once... just the once, my wife forced me to give it the chop, the smell was pretty awful.

They don't smell that bad and only for a day or two. Arum elongatum does smell for as long as a week in early spring. Only about 6inches high see pic below

                  That's very nice @NigelJ !

On another forum I was sent some young Helicodiceros muscivorus tubers. It's common name is Dead Horse Arum! They're a year or two away from blooming but when they do I'll have this.............

I love my Dracunculus vulgaris but planting it by my (and next doors!) kitchen window wasn't the smartest move!

I bought some Helicodiceros muscivorus seed and two have germinated I think 3 or 4 years to flowers.
                    I also have Amorphophallus konjac
                    Amorphophallus konjac a (3).JPG
This is from April 2012 as they have been very slow this spring and are only now coming into leaf.
                    Below a couple of favourites.
