      They look like moo poo, smell like moo poo and by christ they taste like moo poo! :yikes:
      I spent some time in SE Asia when they were in season and they still tasted god awful when fresh - give me Lychees or Mangos any day of the week.
      Just my opinion though - if you haven't tried them give it a go. Frankly I'd rather have another witchetty grub.

        Agree, the stink is awful, I don't think they are allowed in Hotels or on planes (except as cargo).
        I held my nose walking through a market in Singapore!!!!:biggrin:

          Never tried it, the smell was bad enough. I remember many signs on hostels in China quite clearly stating ' NO DURIAN!!!'
