'Love and Peace' is incorrect and is the name of a Moore mini. It remains because some nurseries incorrectly use it. 'Love & Peace' is correct.

                    Thank you Woo :)

I just love your information as it will help me to look after my roses.

I went to the Rose Gardens near Helier Gardens again today...... oh there as so many to choose from.... I took Tess with me for company and she just lay on the grass baking herself in the sun... so no help from her! :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

It is such a fantastic place to visit and they are very helpful. I could have purchased more and had to restricted myself (For Mr AB I'm currently baking a raspberry and fresh cream Victoria sandwich cake to bribe him to dig some holes :heehee: at the weekend)

The aroma from Birthday boy is just outstanding and the colour is just so bold.

Do you have any information on the Burgundy Ice? This was an accidental purchase as it was in the climbing rose section, I wanted to grow it with Cinderella as I though the colours would compliment each other, if its worth keeping I will, as I have room for it.

Just means I have to go back to find another climbing rose to go with Cinderella

Good evening @Apple Blossom ,Its also know as Pink Iceberg;)

'Burgundy Ice' is a sport of the popular garden variety 'Iceberg' that was discovered in a garden in Tasmania. It's a floribunda variety producing clusters of unusual dark plum-purple flowers. It grows to about 90-100cm (3-4ft)

                          Floribunda.
Deep purple with lighter reverse, dark burgundy red stamens and anthers. Average diameter 3.75". Full (26-40 petals), cluster-flowered, in small clusters, cupped-to-flat bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Pointed, ovoid buds.
Bushy, rounded. Semi-glossy foliage. 5 leaflets.
                          Height of 30" to 35" (75 to 90 cm). Width of 31" to 39" (80 to 100 cm).

This invention relates to a new and distinct variety of Floribunda Rose. It was discovered in the autumn of 1998 in Dural, New South Wales, Australia as a mutation of the cultivar `PRObril` It was discovered by Edgar Norman Swane, Galston Road, Dural, New South Wales, Australia.
