from what I've read online brassicas shouldn't be planted in the same place two years running. I currently have some brocolli and cauliflower growing, and I was wondering when they stop growing could I grow other types of brassica in the same places through autumn and winter? Like maybe winter kale or other winter brassicas? I don't know if that's a stupid question, but I don't want clubroot in the soil, that'll just be yet another disease to deal with:scratch:. I won't be planting brassicas in the same place next year, but I was just confused as to wether you can plant different types in the same place, in the same year.

Best to grow them elsewhere even in the same season.

Oh ok I'll do that then. So that means I can't plant any more brocoli or cauliflower of the same. Writes right? It's a bit of a shame, since the brassica family is so large. At least they have a long growing system so my veg patch won't be empty for too long, I might try planting garlic or onions for the winter. Thanks
