After 24 byes people are wondering if he is :heehee: Best not to mention him dropping Joe Root when he was still on zero!

Only ever been to one cricket match, that was at Old Trafford, it rained spent the day in the bar, ended up with one cracking hangover

Not dissimilar to my last visit to Lords then (a corporate jolly I'm embarrassed to say).

      David Lloyd.
Bugs the absolute cr*p out of me.
And seems to revel in the role of "class clown".
Don't know how he remains as one of the main commentators on Sky. It's beyond me. :hate-shocked:

      I agree.

Hate to say it, but what a tiresome day that was today. Nothing at all in the pitch for the bowlers so a draw it will be (not sticking my neck out there then!).
Trent Bridge received an official rollicking last year after the India test and whether England asked for this or not something needs to be said.

When I have the time, I like to listen to the radio commentary with Geoff Boycott, Phil Tufnell, Jonathan Agnew and the great Henry Blofeld. Superb :blue thumb:

Off to Lord's today, courtesy of two free tickets from my very generous (and well connected) boss. :yahoo:

Looks like it could be a morning of watching the Aussies thrash a few quick runs, followed by the England batsman being put under severe pressure and battling for survival.

Just going to enjoy the day and the occasion as it's my first visit to Lord's.

A quintessential English summer Sunday afternoon at Lord's.

Watching the cricket in the sunshine, a slice of cake courtesy of the nice lady from Bath sitting behind us, an England batting collapse and plenty of happy Australians.

An abject performance from England, but I decided to just enjoy the occasion and soak up the atmosphere.

After the recent performances I really did not expect such a woeful capitulation
On the plus side I was in the Netherlands for the weekend so at least I was spared having to listen to it.

Edgebaston was great but what about today:lolpt: :hapydancsmil: Having gotten in from a cricketless work I opened the tinterweb and promptly wet myself laughing - Australia all out for 60 runs in less than twenty overs!
As if that wasn't embarrassing enough the top scorer of the innings was England who gave them 14 extras which was one more than the top scoring Australian!
