    Hi,

I lifted all my daffodil bulbs last March 2014 after the flowers died off, as I was moving in the April. I left them in the greenhouse to dry out for a week, then I bagged them up into paper bags, 5 to a bag and I'm sure I've got 30 bags. They are stored in a basket in my garage.

Will they still be alright to plant out this autumn or have I stored them too long?

    Regards,

They should be OK - just make sure that air can circulate to avoid rot.

you lifted them March 2014 and they have been in bags for over 16 months , and its now July 2015.

I doubt if they would grow as they would of dried out by now.

@Lolimac @JWK Have you both seen the date

Take a good look at them first before you discard them. If any are plump to the touch, they may still be viable; if so, plant them at the right time and wait and see. If they squish or crumble then you know there's no hope.
It would be great if you were able to salvage a few from your old garden. I like the continuity aspect of gardening in the moving home context
