I think I'm gonna come and do a midnight raid on your garden

I love the Lobelia and Digitalis, but........

The colour of Salvia Patens is stunning, any chance of a close up please :)

I love salvia patens too. I grew it and Cambridge Blue in my last garden, very easy from seed, can't understand why it's so expensive.

Probably because they're tuberous and need growing on for a full season before they're ready to sell? Just a thought.

thanks, it was an accident. the lily been there for years. Now the huge hydrangea has really grown over the poor lily. So I guided the branches around the top of the lily so it could get some sun and bloom properly. It is such an unexpected treat. Maybe I should do a Christmas card with that picture. Anyway, that whole garden needs major pruning out. So not sure if I can leave the lily there any longer after this year.
