    Good mid morning @liliana my friend I have just returned from Wilkinsons ,someone said Oh look wet is it raining outside,no I said its sweat :lunapic 130165696578242 5:tried to help everyone smile and succeeded ,cashier said do you need a bag,no thank you I have one under each eye:heehee:

    I got my friend Dumbo to give me a hand with my ironing;)

      No, I have seen lots of the books in the charity shops, might get it, if it's
      cheap enough. Not seen the film, waiting for that to come on Sky Tv, right

      Good afternoon folks,
      I've not had an Internet since Friday! :thud:, I checked on to the forum at work yesterday, but couldn't post as I was sooo busy :doh:. Anyway everything up to date at work & Internet working at home :yes:. Yesterday I managed between rain showers to cut all the hedges, some still need topping but I'm not doing that it's too high! :yikes:
      Having a clearing/sorting out the house day today I've been to the tip & garden centre!!!! :hapydancsmil:It's chucking it down here, the hens have been sheltering in the kitchen!! :whistle:
      I hope you are all keeping well & dry.
      Anyone need any water? My waterbutts are overflowing! :rolleyespink:

                        @wiseowl ...if you're at a loose end tonight..7pm BBC2 ..Carol Cline has a new program ..Plant Odysseys...tonight it's all about Roses:dancy:and how they have developed over the years...did you know fossils of Roses have been found dating back to 37 million years ago:hate-shocked:

                        It'll be a good watch for all of us interested:thumbsup:

                          Pouring with rain here, the grass is soggy! But it's greening up! :dbgrtmb:
                          It's quite windy & very chilly, I had to put a sweater on this morning....over the top of my bikini!!!! :scratch::thud::heehee:
                          The hens are sitting in the back porch on the door mat! ;)
                          Best I get cracking I'm off to work this morning roll on Thursday when my holiday starts! :hapfeet:

                            Aloha everyone,

                            We've just got back from a lovely holiday in Portugal looking at the culture and history of the place. Of course, as we were in the Douro region most of the time we were forced to go to see Port, Muscatel and wine being made. :heehee:

                            Weather was a bit on the hot side some of the time (36C). :phew:

                            I think Woo was advising them about how to look after them in those days :old: :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

                            Haven't had time to look around the garden yet. :)

                            But I've had a quick look back over the posts on here and see that Woo put up the catchy song 'Out of Town'. Before Jack Hargreaves used it as the theme for his show it was a big hit for Max Bygraves and it came from the 1956 show 'Charley Moon' and was written by Leslie Bricusse who wrote lots of musicals (some of which were 'Stop The World I Want To Get Off, Doctor Doolittle etc.). He wrote/collaborated on songs such as 'If I Ruled The World', 'Gold finger', 'What Kind Of Fool Am I?', 'Talk To The Animals' and 'My Kind Of Girl'.

                            Matt Munroe (who remembers him?) got a big hit with the last one
