            Dull, grey and mostly dry although there was a few spots of rain every now and then. The winds were quite strong until around early afternoon but then dropped to a gentle breeze. The Sun has obviously gone AWOL as I haven't seen it for over 2 days. The temperature at the moment is 59f with the pressure reading 1021mbs.:coffee::snork:

                  Was quite happy when it started raining because I don't have to water the newly sodded lawn. It's not stopped raining for a few days now though... and it's heavy sideways rain too! Wondering whether to peg the lawn down to stop it floating away :heehee:

                    The gloom outside is creating gloom inside, oh for some sunshine! The last two days have been wet, grey and windy, a bit like the rest of July really, 16C. My winter duvet went back on the bed today, it was cold last night! :doh:

                        Well the suffocating heat thankfully seems to have passed. We're back to the yo-yoing now though with 28ºC forecast for today, then 17ºC for Thursday and Friday :rolleyespink:. Hopefully we'll have some more rain too, as last Tuesday's storm is the only rain we've had in about a month.

                          So, Preston (where i live, work and play) has been voted the rainiest city in the UK. Not really news to me, i don't think i've seen 5 consecutive days of dry weather this year so far! Day 2 of the "summer holidays" and my new pond has filled itself in pretty much!
