Let me check I've got this right... Sticking loads of sticks and stuff poking out of the ground 6 inches and spacing them all about 6 inches apart. That's supposed to keep cats away?? Really?

    Does this actually work?

Dont worry they wont come flocking. I have 9 cat mint plants, 3 cats of my own, next doors cat who is regularly in my garden and three other cat visitors. There are another 5 cats i know of that i see in other gardens and out the front that dont come in my back garden

The cat mint is rarely used and they aint that fussed lol mine have the odd roll in it once a month and i have only caught one of the visiting cats sniffing it and nextdoors has no interest what so ever.

So trust me they wont flock lol

You can by gels that put them off going the loo from pets at home i put them down my side alley as one of mine was pooing there when it rained and that stopped him. He hasnt done it since

      Welcome!!

With regards to your cat issue... Orange peel. I've got a house cat who never goes outside so when the neighbours cats started leaving their egg's all over my new borders, i got pretty annoyed.

I threw some orange peel down around the edges of the borders and low and behold... no more paw prints or "presents" left behind :)

Is "eggs" an alternative name for "presents"?

I shall try the orange peel idea when the plants start going in the garden

@Prkns I've never heard that before! My first thought was "Do cats lay eggs?" as if I've gone through life with this massive kowledge gap :loll:

It's a good phrase! Much better than presents :blue thumb:

A teacher eh? Better watch your spelling/punctuation folks, otherwise 'teach' will give us 'lines'!
Oh yes, welcome to the forum

I'm not sure why "teach" and "lines" have the apostrophes there  Am I missing something? (apart from the obvious... brains, beauty and wealth)

And don't worry, I won't be correcting your work... I mean comments! Literacy isn't my strong suit so you're safe. It will probably be you lot correcting me tbh :dbgrtmb:

Well, pretty sure 'teach' isn't a proper word, in the sense that I used it (short for teacher). Not sure about 'lines' though :)
