            Hi Sheal,

I've had a look at quite a few catalogues but all I can find are the taller varieties/species.

If it helps these are from a series called "Regent ".

Thanks Anthony. :) Perhaps they are new to the market and seed isn't available yet. I'll go and take a look at them. :dbgrtmb:

You're more than welcome, loli. I first saw it with my wife at Arley Hall just outside Knutsford in Cheshire and we both fell in love with it. It's not what I would call an elegant plant but it has a every old fashioned charm to it. Mine is in the centre of the "walk around" border and gets to a height of around 8' or more. It's very hardy and the Bees, etc, love it.:hapydancsmil: It's one plant I look forward to seeing grow through the seasons.:coffee::snork:

Beautiful plants and pictures everyone. :dbgrtmb: I have some annuals in bloom at last, so bear with me while I coax my decrepit computer into posting them.

With the failure of a lot of my annuals this year because of the weather conditions these are all I have left and only in one bed.

For the second year running this bed has been a disappointment. The flowers pictured above look lost in a bed of green and the lack of my climbers in the centre this year hasn't helped.

@Sheal - it has not been a good year has it.

Commelina tuberosa has only just started to bloom. At least I now know that it is hardy to -8°c now...........
