          Good morning Woo and all,

Hope everyone has had a good night:dbgrtmb:

Bit stiff this morning after laying some pavers,I wouldn't mind but it was only half a dozen:rolleyespink: they've been lying around in the garden since last year so thought it was about time I put them to some use.I wouldn't let Mr Loli help as when I start a job I like to finish it..Stubborn I think they call it:biggrin:...so I politely told him to play with his motor bikes:heehee:
Some nice easy dead heading and other bit's and bobs today and then a relaxing afternoon sat in the garden, hopefully with a bit of sunshine:thumbsup:

Enjoy your day everyone and take care:SUNsmile:

            Aloha Woo and everyone,

I hope Mrs Woo is feeling better and I'm sure she is happy to be home. :grphg:

The sun is shining merrily and the temperature is heading towards 27C - a little hot for my liking. :)

Friends round today (non-carnivorous ) and I'm doing a simple meal of avocado pear filled with a type of nut roast mix (already cooked) with a light side salad and home made dressing. This will be followed by grilled salmon fillet (Tesco selling whole sides of salmon for £12) marinated with some lemon juice for 30 minutes, partly grilled, then topped with thinly sliced fresh ginger, grilled a little bit more then topped with a fanned spring onion and finished off under the grill.

This will be accompanied by boiled new potatoes finished off in a high oven with a light coating of olive oil, sea salt and fresh oregano. I'll also do a lightly spiced rice, some freshly picked runners and French beans (first crop because of the rabbits :mute:) and some mangetout.

Dessert is rhubarb sponge and a fresh fruit salad of pineapple, mango, melon, grapes and strawberries.

Fruit salad, rice and side salad all prepared beforehand. Total cooking time 20 minutes (apart from sponge that will cook whilst we're eating). Easy Peasy!! :blue thumb:

I shall get some more weeding in before it gets too hot out there. Sarafi may take a quick look at what I'm doing in the garden but will walk off in a huff when I don't stroke him or feed him. Oscar would have sat with me and supervised :snork:. He would have, occasionally (every 15 minutes), walked up to me and rolled over for a tummy rub. Of course, if Mrs S was in the garden I wouldn't have even seen a whisker! :noidea: He would have been at her feet all the time.

            Have a great day

            Aloha!

Cor is there a space at the table for me Shiney? that sounds delicious:wub2:....

Wasn't Oscar a marvellous cat:cat-kittyandsmiley:..not that Sarafi isn't it's just they are such different characters .My old dog was the same,he'd come and sniff the flowers when I showed him and dig holes for planting on request...Archi and Theo on the other hand:whistle: Theo in particular is usually up to mischief ,if he's not stalking the chooks to make them turn around and chase him he's picking up tools and taking them to the opposite end of the garden:rolleyespink: at least Archi brings them back when I ask him,he's a bit more sensible...all good fun though:doggieshmooze:

                Good Morning,

I'm off to a bad start , my cats been sick in the sitting room on the carpet I cleaned on Thursday, but far worse Nora died in the night :cry3:, she wasn't herself yesterday & I had a feeling she was nearing the end , I think she had underline medical problems other than her reoccurring crop issue, crop issues are often a tell tale sign that there's other problems, eating the fat ball on Friday wouldn't have helped her either :nonofinger: She had three 3 years & 4 months here & was always the most cheeky hen :). I shall miss her. Hubby has said I can't have anymore because I get so upset when they die, but I really want more as you know.....we shall see, I think some might turn up soon!
Anyway your lunch sounds yummy @shiney & really easy to prepare, my type of cooking :heehee:
@Lolimac enjoy your day in the garden & I hope your stiffness doesn't last too long, amazing how we are all so active but still have muscles we don't use & get stiff :)
I hope everyone else is ok, my day is going to improve :fingers crossed:.
                Happy gardening folks :)

                      Good morning all,

Beckie so sorry to hear about Nora. I hope you do get some more as you love them so much and as Loli says they are such lovely characters.

Be round later then Shiney, that sounds absolutely delicious, should go down a treat. Pleased to say I am feeling a bit better this morning. Now must get Amber out for her walk. Going to be a hot one today I think.
Have a lovely day all, God bless. :wub2:

Morning all (well, just about still morning!)
Not ready to start attacking my jungle yet, so spending first part of the day at a friends ( yes, I do have one ) helping to attack his. Good practice maybe?
Then, at last, footballs back :dancy::hapfeet::hapfeet::hapydancsmil::yahoo:
