What's Buzzing or Flying near you today... 2015

    The buddleia today had quite a few butterflies and bees on it as the sun warmed the blossom up and the smell of "honey" from the blooms was quite powerful. This one, when I downloaded it from my camera, almost brought me to tears. What an incredibly exquisite and beautiful camouflage outfit.

      The garden is absolutely buzzing at the moment. There are lots of these butterflies in particular which are really big and one in particular seems to follow me around. Here it is on an ecchinacea flower: [​IMG]

                The like that i have given is for the two top picture Shiney, as i don't like wasps any more after finding a wasp nest with the strimer :runforhills:yesterday and got stung a few times :mad::mad::mad::mad:

                          Yes, it looks like a Sparrowhawk @Dips. It's not the best of things to come across but it's part of nature's survival. Greedy Magpies there waiting to see if anything's left for them too.
