Watched it about a bazillion times since it came out but if you haven't seen it The Grand Budapest Hotel is just a brilliant, fantastic and stunningly well filmed movie. I can't get enough of Wes Anderson films though, so i might just be a bit biased!

I'm not sure how that skipped my radar but it looks excellent! Bill Murray, Harvey Keitel and Willem Dafoe in the same film!

I'm in the middle of " Prophet of Evil" with Brian Dennehy. Pretty good.

I watched a Danish film from the '90s called Pusher last night - a stone cold classic! It is about a drug dealer and how his life falls apart over the course of a week.

I watched "The Road" - a post apocalyptic survival film about a father and son. It was quite interesting, well made, believable but a little disappointing. I think I expected more from it.

More of a drama than a film......Catherine Cooksons 'Round tower', starring that fox from Silent Witness. Not bad.

Watched "Troy" over the weekend and although it was a bit long it was a good film especially with young versions of Brad Pitt and Orlando Bloom(e):wub2:

                    The Europa Report.................

One of the best sci-fi films that I've ever seen, maybe the best. Basically it is a suspense thriller without large whizz bang effects which relies on the plot and the acting which are both A1!

Yes that looks interesting. (I see that the whole film is on youtube - however it goes to a subscription link).

Seeing them inside the space capsule made me think of the sci fi spoof movie Dark Star - did you see that? I found it hilarious but then that was my kind of era,... man!
