    We mustn't gloat. :heehee::heehee::heehee:
    I didn't believe the score when I first heard it, then I thought it was England batting.

      I was living in Oz in 94/95 when we lost three one and they gloated! How I wish I was there today :heehee:

        I was working from home yesterday so had the Ashes on and it was brilliant. Broad's bowling was simply sublime. Good old Root kept hitting them for 4. Unfortunately I have to go back to work today, but hopefully England can keep batting most of the day so I can get to watch some cricket over the weekend.

          Wonderful day of cricket if you are an England supporter, lets hope for it to continue today.
          Tried to get tickets for this test but had no chance but I have got tickets for the ODI at Headingley, just hoping the form continues.:dancy:

          Had to work yesterday so it was just text alerts for me - what a fantastic session in the morning! Managed to sit in the car at lunch and listen to TMS and the last 3 wickets to fall :yes:

          We haven't beaten them yet (contrary to what R4 said this morning) but it's 99% done :dbgrtmb:

          The shock of the TMS team was only surpassed by the look of pure shock on Stuart Broads face with each wicket. I played the session back on iPlayer and I thought that Blowers was going to explode.

          When she said "England won the ashes yesterday". Don't hex us please!

              Another weekend without cricket 'cos....................
              [IMG]

              That said the message on the screen is not really correct as they merely have a winning lead of 3-1 at the moment. The win could yet be 4-1!

              Extras 40 (b - 20 w - 1, nb - 3, lb - 16)
              Not being a cricket buff . I was looking at the scorecard and noted the extras above. Now nb is no ball , w is wide , what are the others ?

                A bye is when a run (or runs) are scored when the ball hasn't touched the bat. A leg bye is when a run (or runs) are scored when the ball comes off the pad, or some other part of the body.
