Helloooo there! All the way from sunny (-?) Gloucester!

Hi to everyone who has taken time to read this blurb about the (not so) fascinating world of me!

So I have massive aspirations to be the keeper of an amazing garden, having just moved into a property that has an array of different plant life already growing. It's not the biggest of gardens, but I fully intend on making the most of all the space I can and at the same time making sure I don't bombard the garden so you can barely move.

I have already has a mishap regarding a lovely parsley plant which I had to dispose of yesterday due to a disgusting infestation of fruit flies and their damn eggs, all the way up the stems of the parsley (I hate fruit flies with a passion, especially when I fear they are going to land on all the lovely food I am preparing) I am also on my way to having another potential issue with some spinach, but I shall go into that another day. I have also found that it is possible to kill an Aloe plant with heat. Who'd have thought it? A desert plant cannot stand dry heat...?

So as you can tell, I am something of an amateur. But I am keen to learn from my mistakes and will appreciate any help given to me along the way.

Was I supposed to talk about myself unrelated to gardening...? I am a very happy-go-lucky, positive person who is quite content to live in an oblivious-to-the-worlds-misery little bubble. I have many hobbies, mostly craft/sewing related which I seem to never have to time to do any of and all of which I have the desire to be a master of at some stage in my life! Just like with the gardening.

Good to know that there is another crafter joining! When I'm not failing to tame my garden, I cross-stitch, knit, crochet, etc.... Or at least, I do if I'm not vegging in total exhaustion!! And you are so close to the bestest county there is. Ok, so even though I haven't lived there for nearly 30 years, I feel that my heart will always be rooted in Herefordshire...
