Good morning @shiney you are a my friend just as an incentive would it be at all possible to offer one years Free membership to the grumpy old person's club

 

@wiseowl Oh, all right! (Grump, grump!)

But you can't call it the Grumpy Old Person's Club . Club rules don't allow Political Correctness (Rule 1.) and you have to act misogynistic whilst on club premises (Rule 2.).

The Little Ladies are allowed in as guests (or honorary members) only, and are barred from the smoking lounge (and the men's toilets ).

Don't forget Rule 3: Members must say something detrimental about the government at least once in an evening.

Rule 5: Don't attempt to cheer up our Butler and Major Domo. He's Marvin (from Hitchhikers' Guide - no, he didn't die in 'Goodbye and Thanks for All the Fish') and will reprimand you for attempting it - if he can be bothered!

 

@shiney rules are meant to guide you not bind you but as you are the originator /chairman/secretary/treasurer/and the committee I suppose I have no choice but to stick to the rules what if we have a height restriction of 4ft for the lovely ladies and perhaps an affiliated branch called Sulky Old Women Society

Good morning @shiney I was a member for 50 years but you banned me(don't you remember) it was for smiling,my defence was I had the wind but it just fell on death ear's
