    Aloha everyone,

A beautiful sunny morning today

@liliana tell him he has got to go to the doctor :old: :)

@lykewakewalker enjoy your break in Lolimac Land. The weather there has been very good there so you should have a good time. :blue thumb: Watch out for traffic if you're leaving soon. There's problems at J44 because of the Leeds Fest! It should clear up around 10 a.m. :dbgrtmb:

I think I'll wander round the garden and do some odds and ends.

    Have a great day

    Aloha!

          Aloha everyone,

@wiseowl Sorry to hear about your back  :grphg:. What have you been told about overdoing things :nonofinger:. I wouldn't dream of doing that ;) :heehee:. Wish you better and take Arnica if you have it. If not, then let us know. :blue thumb:

I've a bit of driving to do today. Mrs Shiney wants to go to a glass supplier who is having a special sale today. She needs some special 'Bulls' Eye' glass so she can do some special pieces for our charity craft sale and coffee morning in October.

It's 26 miles to the glass place, then another 26 miles to the village flower festival where they came to us for their plant supplies (helps prune and cut back the garden :heehee:) and then 26 miles home. If I see reports of the roads being very busy I'll have to get the helicopter out instead. :snork:

Keep well and have a great day

          Aloha!

            Good morning all,

Lovely sunrise WOO, thank you. Just walked Amber and feel as though I am ready to go back to bed. Oh the joys of having a dog that wants to walk early! I am afraid I have trained her to too much routine. She now tells me when its time to get up, time to breakfast her and time to walk her and then again at mid day she tells me it is time for her mid day walk again again soon after 4pm or there abouts. So I will reconsider what I said earlier, it was me that trained her she trained me! Lol.

Hope you all have a lovely day, stay dry and do not overdo things. PC still working well here thankfully, well done to Malware Bytes.
            God bless.:wub2:

                Aloha everyone,

The flower festival at the church was exceptionally good - the best I've ever seen. :blue thumb: We're pleased our garden was able to contribute a lot to it. :)

My foot is quite a bit better now (Shhh! :fingers crossed:) so my Hopability is gradually becoming Bouncability. :hapydancsmil:

I'll get a load of mowing done and then pick runners and French. The pears look as though they may be getting ripe so I'll try a few. Windfall apples are being picked up at the rate of approx. 10lb a day (Mrs Shiney has to do that job) and the blackberries are still producing in abundance.

We've guests today but they're coming from different directions after attending different events. So we're not sure when they will all be here. I've planned food that can mainly be prepared in advance to allow for unknown timing. Asparagus and courgette soup is already made, a slightly spicy chicken casserole (coq au vin style) for the carnivores and a veggie tagine for the veggies. A variety of veg to accompany it all and a dessert of blackberry (what else :snork:) mousse, fresh fruit salad and home made mango ice cream.

                Have a great day

                Aloha!

Good morning all. What a foul day here! I don't fancy walking Amber but have no choice.

Two machine loads of washing to dry to, how I am going to achieve that I do not know.
Have a good day everyone, God bless.:wub2:

                          Aloha everyone,

The light rain is pretty steady today but no wind. So I may go out for a walk with my big brolly. :blue thumb: It'll be a short walk. :heehee:

A busy week ahead so a lot of planning to do in order to prioritise things.

Keep well and have a great day

Ah, Wiseowl, but can you turn your head nearly 360 degrees  :)

Had to take it easy, did not do a boot sale as back was really bad, :wallbanging: tried to have a
lazy day Saturday, resting in the sitting-room, thought I would go crackers, don't
know how the OH does it :yikes:.

Sunday, as I had taken it easy the day before, there was twice as much to do
so you see, it does not solve the problem, and my back ached even more
probably because I was not being as mobile.

Back reasonable this morning, gave it a good dollop of pain relief cream, have
to do it myself, OH is useless, he just cannot get the idea of how to massage skin.:noidea:

So, going to have to work inside today, it's raining 'cats and dogs':heehee: plenty to
do, usual batch of washing and already a pile of ironing to do. Want to have
another sort out in the garage, expecting a new fluorescent tube in the next
few days, a proper daylight one.

Well, off to have my toast and raspberry jam, followed by an apple, bought
them for OH, and he says he can't chew them .:old:

                            Have a good day :imphrt:
