Gardening forums are nothing but a treasure chest of sexual innuendos!

Getting ready for the longest runner bean class at our village show on Monday, I checked mine yesterday I've got 8 of 18" or more:

            20.5" x 1
            20" x 1
            19.5" x 3
            19" x 1
            18.5" x 1
            18" x 1
            + 20 over 15"

Will be cutting the longest one tomorrow morning, then wrapping it in a wet towel round around a straight piece of wood to try and make it as straight as possible, as the length is measured in a straight line end to end, rather than the girth.

That's the way to do it! :dbgrtmb:

We got a first, here but can't remember the size. Don't think they were as big as yours. They ask for six of them.
