Until the next catalogue comes through your letter box, which should be late September/October time I believe.

Yes Rad, you'll get them at least twice a year unless you cancel them. :) So are you going to resist and cancel? Or let them come and resist the temptation to buy? I think I know the answer! :heehee:

Twice a year? I won't cancel... they make great bed time reading. :snork: I'll just have to resist the urge to buy stuff.

          yeah...right! ;)

@Beckie76 I got the selection of climbing roses but I'll still be checking out the website you showed me for shrub-like roses

I suppose it's my fault cuz I put you onto Parkers in the first place !

As for catalogues, which one have you got ?

I get the big one ( called Wholesale, but anyone can order from it ) twice a year, and the smaller ones come out around three or four times a year.

So, you decided not to wait for their end of season clearance sale then ? ? ?

Nobody's fault... I would have browsed other websites anyway so don't worry :heehee: Hope pointed out a few plants and labelled them so I've treated her to them. I want her to have "her" plants in the garden that she can be proud of.

I've got the Autumn 2015 A5 booklet. :dunno:

The end of season clearance won't go to waste ;) I still have some space to fill, even once these are in. That will be christmas treat :dbgrtmb:

So today I've just pottered around the garden a bit. I woke up in a really sluggish frame of mind so I've taken it easy. Today has also been my last day of working in the garden before I go back to work on Thursday :frown:

I've mowed the lawn and mixed the clippings into the compost heap along with another batch of sawdust/card bits from the gerbil cage. It's starting to look very composty! Very brown and withered.

I've also put a couple of eye hooks in the back/bottom of the strawberry planter and I've hung all the extra slats from the compost heap on it. Just being tidy :blue thumb:

I've made a frame thats about 70cm tall for my peas which I've planted now. It's just one row 3ft long. The packet says the peas grow to 75cm tall so it's all good. They're Hurst Green Shaft peas which are decent for overwintering :dbgrtmb:

I've moved the brocollis, without disturbing the root ball, so that they are all spaced in their own square foot. I've thinned out the carrots a bit although I'm not sure how much I'm suppose to thin them. :noidea: I'm happy with some smaller carrots and pulling those out gives the other a bit more room to grow. We'll see! I've also sown 2 rows (4ft total) of lettuces. I think they're iceberg lettuces. Now I've just got to wait for my onion sets and garlic sets to arrive (sometime in September) and I can plant those. I need to research how much room they need though. I think it's 4 per square foot.

I've also moved the Celosia out of the L shaped bed and spread the kale out a bit. I've also checked and the cloche will fit pretty much perfectly over the L shaped bed which is nice!

And the honeysuckle has grown a lot! It's been spread over the trellis and tied up so that it grows nicely. Not bad for a full shade plant.

                        Argh.....

I can just picture the scene.....

( Rad says) "Hope darling could you pass me the pen please", then lovingly writes a label " love in a mist ".
( Hope replies) " Now my turn" and writes the next one " Forget me not "
