      We've got one next door to us as well, but it's not quite as intrusive as the one you have next to you. I'm sure the EU could come up with some health and safety issue to ban them. :)

      I hate that to Zigs. :wallbanging: It's a whole different ball game though during TT when you've got fifty bikers on your rear end. I'd rather they were in front of me so I can look at their rear ends.......clad in leather of course! :heehee:

        Two white van drivers that were behind me once had a lesson in stopping distances. One was tailgating me, the other was tailgating him. A car pulled out of a side road in front of me with no warning. I had no option, I booted the brake. I was fair. I tried to strike a balance between braking hard enough to avoid the other car but soft enough to give the tailgating vans a chance. The van behind me managed, just. The van behind him didn't. As the way ahead cleared I continued on my way. A quick check of my rear view mirror revealed two van drivers now outside their vehicles, inspecting the damage.

          Have you tried the new one? Its called Fug - got a catchy slogan too:

          If Daz can't do it, and Ariel can't do it - Fug It!

          ;)

            I thought I'd bring this thread back up. :)

            I listen to the radio quite a lot and an advertisement that is currently running on there I find extremely annoying. :mad:

            It's for the Vauxhall Corsa. Apart from the person speaking much too fast, as they tend to do with some ads, it has 'background' music that is so loud I can't hear what the ad is about! :doh: I hope the money that they have spent on the ad is a complete and utter waste.

            I not only switch off from listening to it but turn the radio off, and have said to myself that we shall never buy a Vauxhall again. :nonofinger: There's plenty of makes to choose from. :blue thumb:

                Is it just me? I always thought that the reversing lights on a car were a good indication that said vehicle was about to move backwards.

                Apparently though, to most other people it means 'When these lights are on, it is imperative that you now walk, drive or stop immediately behind this vehicle'. :gaah:

                  My biggest pet hate is people not clearing the timer on the microwave after using it and leaving like 3 seconds on it. It drives me insane and my ex use to do it all the time.

                  Its not that hard to press the cancel button so its ready for the next person to use

                  My mums microwave also annoys me too because you have to press a button that says micropower before you can set the timer. There isnt another type of power button to press so why is this step even needed. Its a complete waste of a button.

                    What I really really hate is the music that is played in films, ordinary programmes like Gardeners World and Wildlife programmes to name just a few.It really irritates me as the age of silent films has long gone and often, being hard of hearing I just can't hear what the presenter is saying because of it.Please stop it as it is doing my head in....:old::snork:

                        @Kandy
                        We bought a new TV last year and it's one of these 'Smart' TV's. (Our third TV in 50 years :blue thumb:).
                        It has hundreds of settings and adjustments but, when scrolling through them, I found one that reduces the background sound. It's much better now. :dbgrtmb:

                          @Shiney,We bought a Samsung telly (3rd telly in 35 years) when the VAT rate dropped the other year so it does have quiet a few features but dozy Mr Kandy doesn't understand what half of the features are because he hasn't bothered to read the instruction manual.Well he doesn't have to because he knows it all:snork:
