      Good morning all,

Wouldn't do that too often then WOO, no good without your head love.
Here's hoping for a better day, son cannot come home until his bivvy dries out and his big umbrella etc so he is still fishing. One way or the other I think he is going to have to come home today though as he will be running out of food. I am hoping my new gazebos will be delivered today which may resolve a problem of hanging his gear out to dry! Got one lot of washing dry yesterday now need to dry the sheets off his bed. Well off to take Amber out as I have a delivery expected from Sainsburys at 8am so got to be in for that.

Have a good day now, God bless. :wub2:

Good morning to @moyra and everyone.
I had to drive back from the coast yesterday and it was torrential rain all the way on the M62, I don't want to do that again in a hurry, on the upside we did have a lovely weekend.
Bit of a murky morning here but it should brighten up later.
        Have a good day all.

          Aloha everyone,

Well, yesterday turned out to be a cats and dogs day. The rain was so heavy that it was difficult driving in it. I took Mrs Shiney to the Countess of Warwick Show. It's the biggest horticultural show in the area (apart from the County Show). As it was peeing down so hard there was almost nobody there. I let Mrs Shiney go off with my big umbrella and just sat in the car and read.

It's a lot brighter today :blue thumb:

Can't be catching much in the way of fish then!!! :heehee:

Beans to pick and bag up for sale

          Have a great day

          Aloha!

            Morning all:spinning:

Not a bad weather wise for us yesterday, just damp and grey. :noidea:

Thought I would have a lie-in this morning, big mistake :thud: OH fell asleep
on my side of the bed, his whole weight on me, then his legs start kicking
out, :mute: :gaah: Message to self, don't have a lie in with OH in the bed as well. :snooze:

So today, I am going to try and get a lot done as we are going to Newbury on
Wednesday to go to the bank. See what to do with our ISA's  Might as
well keep it under the bed, for the amount of interest the banks are dishing
            out :nonofinger:

Might have a wander around the shops, if OH does not complain about his
legs aching:hate-shocked: We always go and have a coffee in our usual coffee shop, luckily
it's right next door to Poundland, so will have a good buy up as we haven't
got one near to us. By the time we have done all this it will be time to go home. OH
won't want to miss his episode of the Bill :yikes: .

Well, hey ho, this won't get the cow milked (not that we have one) :heehee:

            Make it a memorable one:imphrt:

Where has the last couple of weeks gone...

Managed to get away from training early today and completed 2 presentations over the weekend so spent tonight catching up with the news on GC ...... wow.... I'm exhausted... so much to catch up on...:)

Firstly happy belated wishes for your 50th Wedding Anniversary @shiney I hope you and Mrs Shiney had a wonderful time celebrating :spinning: and what an achievement selling all those beans in such a short space of time..... glad to hear your foot is on the mend :)

@Beckie76 I've had a similar problem with Tess... not fleas but ticks... horrid nasty things.. as I've been so busy with work, I hadn't noticed that she had lost her flea and tick collar, probably whilst she was out with the dog walker.... I had to pick 3 ticks off her this evening... I can't believe how big they can go... I had to look it up on how to remove them completely and was pleased that every one was successful... I then, much to Tess's displeasure treated the area with Tea Tree oil just to stop any infection and glad she can't get to the area to lick it off! :doggieshmooze:

@moyra I agree with Shiney, just ignore the sales calls, its just a scam to sell you something and glad to hear that your son keeps things ticking along nicely for you :)

@wiseowl, sorry to hear that you have hurt your back...I hope its on the mend. I just love the sunrise photo you posted, it warmed me up on a rather chilly evening.... you could always send a little sunshine this way as progress on my projects is slow going at the moment as its just been so wet which is terribly frustrating. Today was a lovely day... but most of it was spend in a classroom with no windows:sad:

I do have a quick peek in now and again between all the projects I'm having to organise at the moment and am looking forward to October 21st when it all comes to an end and I can get my valuable time back... to do the things I enjoy the most :hapydancsmil:

I hope everyone else is in good spirits and wish you all a lovely week :)

Good morning @Apple Blossom and everyone else.
It's another dull start to the day here in WY but that's the weather, not my spirits. I have planned a "tidy up the garden day" so I am up for an early start.
I hope that you all have a good one.

Good morning everyone, It looks a better one out there this morning. Go0t to take Amber to the vets to have her inoculations done. Thankfully it is only once a year. I think they will be happy that she has lost some weight. Probably not as much as they would have liked but it is hard with a Labrador that loves their food.

Have a good day everyone. God bless. :wub2:

                    Aloha everyone,

A lovely sunny day. I may try and get a lot of mowing done. Should finish it all in four hours :blue thumb: (if Mrs Shiney doesn't make me stop because of my foot!).

                    Have a great day

                      Good Morning folks,

I hope you are all ok?

I've just been catching up on this thread, there's been a lot going on whilst I've been awol! Things have calmed down my end now which is really good, life is back to its normal pace thank god! :phew:
I'm still hunting for some new hens, I'm looking for some buff Orpingtons, think I may have missed the boat for this year, I don't really want to wait until the new year but might have too :ouch1:.
The garden is looking good after all the rain, I think we now deserve some sunshine
                      Have a good day all.

Good morning all, none too warm this morning, quite chilly in fact. Should have left the small night storage heater on in the hallway it takes the chill off the whole flat. Sorry you have been overdoing that foot again Shiney, you just cannot keep doing that.

Have a good day everyone, keep warm. God bless. :wub2:
