Yawn Yawn, wakey wakey !! 2015 mk 2

Hi everyone, was supposed to go to Brentwood Community Hospital next Wednesday for an audiology test but have decided to cancel it. Far easier for me to pop into Basildon and have it done at Boots or Specsavers without the worry of the journey there. It would cost me up to £60 for a return taxi to Brentwood and back where as I am happy to drive as far as Basildon. Steve suggested I taxi to Wickford, train from there to Shenfield and then grab another taxi but think that will almost be as much as going by taxi all the way. I also have to go to Basildon Hospital for blood tests so may take it all into one journey! Oh who wants to get old? If I ignore it all will it go away? Lol, have a good evening all,

Good Morning everyone, there was I thinking my appointment for audiology was this Wednesday where in fact it is not until the following week so no rush to make a decision.

Morning all

Now recovered from yesterday's boot sale. At least the weather was sunny for
us .

Busy day, roping OH into helping me to clear the side of the house, its enclosed
on both side, so a long alley. Things have got untidy throughout the summer, and
now I want to be able to access my winter greenhouse, then I can decide
what plants I am going to store in it.

I have not done any work over the weekend, so I have to try and catch up,
but I never seem to .

This afternoon, we both have appointments for the doctor, she is going to review
my back problem, she will have received my scan results, and that will hopefully
start the ball rolling.

I know this is the wrong thread but I had to include them because they are the main event in my life!!!.....well that's not quite true, Hubby has bought me a fruit cage for my veggie patch I'm going to turn it into a caged area for the new hens for now because the black one pictured above (no name yet) decided yesterday even though her wing is clipped it would be a good idea to fly over the fence so Kev & I went hen chasing! It was hilarious, she eventually layed down under a hedge just out of reach she's going to be trouble! . Marion & Hilda are furious with the new girls we've already had a bit of pecking through the run fencing .

@liliana, how did you get I at the doctors today? I hope your scan results were ok?

 

Just keep taking the 'Night Nurse', if she's not available, then the liquid
version will suffice.

 

Scans show thinning of some bones. That combined with the grinding of
discs, I think I'm for the knackers yard.

So, reviewed tablets, off Diclofenac, back on Paracetamol and Codeine combo,
it means I can have more during the day to keep the pain at bay.
