    Not scaremongering at all that is how Newfoundland is and as we are on the same parallel this is what our weather should be like @Anthony Rogers if it wasn't for the Gulf stream and its direction..

        I think a slightly closer comparison would be with somewhere like Vancouver, its on the Western side of a large land mass, and at a similar latitude.
