      Aloha everyone,

@moyra it's good to hear :heehee: that they seem to have got your new ears sorted properly. :blue thumb:

      @Zigs Take things easy :thumbsup:

I'm having to do a lot more chasing around for the tournament I'm running next month :phew: as the entries aren't coming in as fast as they should

Mrs Shiney is, quite rightly, getting fed up with the trophies I keep winning. For this last season these are a few of those I have won :pathd: - with three others at the engravers (one is a 3ft high cup :hate-shocked:).

      P1250846.JPG

The one on the top left I have won (with a partner) 27 times in the last 40 years!

I've got my new passport photos done so need to get everything posted off. Mrs Shiney has seen a holiday, for next year, that she would like to go on. So I've now got to go to the doctors to find out if any vaccinations are compulsory. We don't do vaccinations so won't go if they're compulsory.

I need to pick a load of Naga chillies to take to the Asian wholesalers. They're supposed to be selling them for me (for our charity) at 50p each. It will depend on whether the boss has told his managers about it.

I've a big meeting this afternoon and hope to get back in time to get a quick bite before going out again.

      It's all go!

Have a great day (sun's out now )

      Aloha!

        Good Morning all,

Zigs, I hope you managed to get back off to sleep again to catch up on a few zzzz.
Shiney very impressive set of trophies. I am afraid I see them all as dust collectors. Steve has loads for darts and fishing.

Have a good day everyone, looks a better morning out there and Amber is mything that she wants to go out. God bless. :wub2:

                Morning early people :)

Bit knackered after demolishing 2 outbuildings yesterday :phew:

Impailed me hand on a nail, gone quite red and swolen, so off to get a tetanus jab in a bit.

No work on today so off to leaflet some local villages

                DSCN1794.JPG

Fliers worked out at 2p each :)

                Have a good day everyone

                  Aloha everyone,

@Zigs get to the docs as soon as possible. Look after that hand of yours. :blue thumb: I thought you were supposed to renovate buildings and not knock them down

They've forecast sunshine and showers today. I've ordered the sunshine but told them I don't want any showers.

Our pheasants have been missing for about three months but have now come back :hapydancsmil:

The surgery gave us a two page form to fill in about vaccinations and our history of holidays and vaccinations! :hate-shocked: So I phoned them and said we don't want to waste our time, or theirs, so just want a simple answer from them. If any are compulsory for where we want to go, then we won't go. If they're just recommended, then we won't have them. So no information needs to be put on the forms. They said they will get the nurse to phone us on Monday :noidea:.

My yesterday's meeting was quite interesting as we had just received the info that the government are going to spend £350 million pounds on taking over and refitting the medical research labs in the town. Glaxo have recently moved from there, which made a big hole in the local economy. They will, eventually, be moving their research from the old facility at Porton Down.

There's an interesting local battle going on over new housing. The town council have planned for a few thousand new houses on the edge's of town. It's really needed and fits the government's planning for the area. Unfortunately the edges of the town come into the area of two other local authorities who are fighting the expansion. I can't really see why they are fighting it because it's right on the edge of their jurisdictions and would fulfil their legal housing requirements with very little impact on their area. It won't even have much effect on their politicians as there can't even be 100 voters anywhere near the developments.

Sun is shining  and I have a lot of cooking to get started.

Keep well and have a great day

                  Aloha!

                    Good morning all,

Shiney, how come you have sunshine and we don't just not fair! Steve's gone fishing again today. Warned me to keep windows and doors firmly locked as we have a load of travellers just pitched their wagons down the road from us. That's another lot of shite they are bound to leave behind when they go. They have already been moved off one other local site leaving a terrible mess. Oh well nothing changes.

Have a good day everyone, God bless. :wub2:

I'm on top form this morning :hapydancsmil:
Very overcast here, looks like rain, but I'm off to work so I don't mind too much.
The kitchen smells beautiful, I had six bouquets of flowers for my birthday :dbgrtmb:, I've got all the flowers in the kitchen at the moment, it's cooler in there so I hope they will last longer :blue thumb:
I hope you are all ok & hope you all have a lovely day.
Best I get a wriggle on :dancy:

                        Morning all :spinning:

Well, guess what? I have been in bed for the past 2 days, keeled over by some nasty thing. I have been wringing with sweat. Today I have a thumping headache, trying to eat a bit of breakfast.

OH trying to do things, but leaving a mess in his wake !! I hope to get up today, taking things slowly.

                        Have a good day :imphrt:

Didn't need a tetanus shot as apparently we're covered for life by 3, but Americans have to have them every 10 years

Got a big throbing swollen appendage, me hand don't feel too good either.

Have a good evening everyone and don't impail yourself on anything for a laugh :)
