The good old Wilko 'penny' surprise :snork:, I once picked up a garden arch that was reduced down to £2.50 from £10 but it scanned at 1p!! I went and grabbed the remaining 3 before it changed

Full range of Halloween stuff now in store.

All hosepipes seem to have gone and I've read elsewhere of them being massively discounted, Blood, fish and bone now 50p for 1.5Kg (but Bonemeal and Growmore still full price:scratch:), 9L watercans £1, and quite a few bits now 75% off. Cell trays that were reduced to 25p back in stock at £1 full price.

Apart from some reduced Growmore and Mycorrhizal Fungi (which frustratingly was with the 75% off stuff but was rejected as scanned at full price) plus a few cheap packs of bulbs I'm sorted for a few years.

10m x 900mm Plastic coated steel rectangular 50 x 100mm mesh garden fencing reduced to £4, think this was £17/roll when full price, bought some to use as anti-Wocker fencing.

2x 42L Packs of potato bags that were reduced to 50p are now back to £2, and gravel trays that were 25p now back to £1.

P.S. X-Hosepipes have not been reduced.

Haven't been finding anything for ages until today when I checked Wilkos and found their 136L polyethylene garden waste bags had been reduced (from £2.50?) to 50p each, handy for light rubbish, prunings, chicken run straw removal, etc.

The odd thing is they hadn't got any of these last time I looked, so it could be a case of stock sent out to stores for immediate reduction as I've seen further stuff arrive after reduced stock has all been sold.

I spotted those earlier this morning. The half price compost is Wilkos 15L reduced from £1 to 50p, and the reduced bulbs (which had been relocated from racking to an island display, I seem to recall this happening before when reductions start, so if you notice that's happened check out all the price labels) were:

10 Mixed bedding Hyacinths reduced from £3 to £2.25
              15 Snowdrops reduced from £2 to 75p
10 Narcissus Tazetta Minnow reduced from £1.75 to £1.25
3 Hyacinths Pink Pearl reduced from £1.75 to £1.25
10 Tulips Darwin Red reduced from £1 to 75p

They also had a few other new reductions

50m Jute twine reduced from 50p to 25p
Garden gloves reduced from £1 to 50p
8 Tiehandle black bags reduced from £1 to 50p

Mine has not reduced its bulbs (boo!) but it does have lots of cheap garden paint and wood preservative. Trying to decide whether their Iris Blue paint (£2) is the same as the Majorelle Blue I got from the gardens in Morocco. I went in to try to buy some autumn feed and moss killer for my lawn and moss killer for my drive (it's busy devouring the resale value of my property), so I ended up paying full price for moss killer from Homebase (double boo!)

Compost is now 20p for 15L and all bulbs are now reduced ( can't say what to as they're all different, there doesn't seem to be a fixed rate/percentage ).
