It's already after 7 here and I haven't got off my bum to start work. Got a small job to do then it's back to baking dirt and playing. Today is pub day. Go every Tuesday & Thursday for an hour.

Hope everyone starts feeling better as the day progresses.

    Hugs to all :grphg:

      Morning early people :)

Got a dillema today, it's been raining with more forecast, work involves an electric cement mixer outside or a day at the National Trust, also outside

Might just get in the pill box and carry on with me window, at least thats in the dry.

Have a good day everyone :)

          Aloha everyone,

Hi @Zigs I'm not sure about it being a dilemma . The way I see it is that the work certainly should come first. Is the problem the one that I would have - I don't have any wet weather gear anymore? I'm sure the electric cement mixer is suitable for working in the rain as I've seen them on building sites. I use my electric power washer in wet conditions with no trouble. All I need to make sure of is that the socket, at the plug end, is out of the rain. The rest of it is waterproof. :noidea:

I wouldn't do the gardening job if it's voluntary work. :nonofinger: Although when Tracy used to work for us she never let rain stop work, as it was her livelihood.

Mrs Shiney is off to London today for a Pensioners' annual get together and lunch on a Thames riverboat. Not exactly the best weather for a cruise on the river but I'm sure they'll enjoy themselves. It's organised by her last employer and she's been going on it for the last 14 years. I think that there are less people that she recognises each year!

It's a busy week this week. Last night was the only night this week that I've been at home and Mrs Shiney didn't even have that. :phew:

Keep well and have a great day

          Aloha!

Good morning everyone, feeling a little better this morning, thanks Becky, but not looking to go out with Amber.
            Shiney and H, WOO you too, hope you are all feeling a bit brighter. Zigs you are welcome to working outside this weather. I think son is giving it a miss from going fishing today. I must get Amber out and then come back and get some washing done.;
Have a good day all stay dry and warm, God bless. :wub2:

              Good Morning All,

Blimey what a dreadful day! :thud: This is the sort of Autumn day which I really detest! :help: But heyho it's only weather isn't it!
The geese haven't flown over this morning, I guess it's too wet for them too.

@Zigs I'm inclined to agree with @shiney paid work is paid work & it must come first no matter what the weather is.....I guess that's not what you want to hear! Wrap yourself up my friend & get out there! :blue thumb: Hubby is working outside today & he's had the same instructions!
@moyra pleased to hear you are feeling a bit better, make sure you wrap up warm when you take Amber out :grphg:
@CanadianLori I hope you had a good time at the pub last night :ccheers:.....cheers! :)
@shiney I hope the weather brightens up for Hannah .
@wiseowl I hope you are feeling better today, & you are having fun at your caravan-nest? :blue thumb: nice to get away for a break from the norm
I'm going to ignore the weather :th scifD36: & get on with my day, I hope to get a quick cuppa with a good friend later :hapydancsmil:. Onwards & upwards, enjoy your day :grphg:

I've been converting some of our old photos to digital and some of them are so old that they're not converting very well.

Here's Mrs Shiney showing off her puppies! :heehee:

It's 5:30 here and I have had a sleepless night. Cannot calm down after receiving yet another ridiculous document from a lawyer's office. My son is going through a nasty divorce and I am handling the communications. Will be firing this lawyer today and get this nonsense over with. She, the lawyer, was/is suggesting that my son allow his exe's live in lover to take over the matrimonial home for $1K dollars down payment and pay well below the valued price! :nonofinger:

On a happier note, once I have everyone put back in their corners, I'm going to spend my day messing with my greenhouse contents and tinkering with the solar array.

All those who detest legal fees, say aye..

Good for you Lori, I hate lawyers they seem to be the only ones to win! I have been having another go at fixing this machine. Hope I may have done better than that guy who charger £40 and still didn't resolve the problem. He said it is 7 years old and needs replacing and I paid that money for that advice. He didn't even look at the software just blew the dust out of the machine. Oh well Amber's looking for another walk I was hoping she would hang on a bit longer.

                              Morning all :spinning:

Up with the lark today, and the geese, and the man leaving his house every day
at 6.30.:dunno: , I digress, but I do need to up early today, got to get out for 8.15
as I am taking the car for it's MOT and full service. Had a late night argument with
the OH about it, 'don't let them tell you it will cost 'so and so' don't let them say 'this and
that', I may be only 5ft tall, but I am a Rottweiller, and I will not let anyone take
                              me for a fool. :nonofinger:

Which brings me to the point about any kind of statement from banks, yesterday I got
my monthly statement which rarely varies with the usual going ins and outs.
So I was surprised to see a withdrawal of £50. I was straight onto the bank, and
registered a complaint, so will now have to wait for the correspondence to look into
the problem, so now had to arrange for a new card, what a performance. :noidea:

Bit dark at the moment, was a bit windy during the night, (outside), :snork: we have a small
gate that backs onto our bedroom wall, and there could be heard a little tap, tap.:help:
So that will need a seeing to.:wallbanging:

Ah well, hope you all stay dry.:imphrt:

                                Good Morning all,

Shiney after my play around here on yesterday found a programme that I do not recall being downloaded in August about the time the blue screen started. Didn't recognize it so deleted it and the machine has not crashed since. So fingers crossed there was something wrong with it and this has sorted it once and for all.
Have a good day everyone, God bless. :wub2:
