    Aloha everyone,

Yesterday was a dull day so I took the opportunity to try and catch up on things indoors - not very successfully

I went shopping and then made a gallon of chicken soup (which I love - obviously ) and Sarafi went into his funny antics. He's not allowed indoors and we don't feed him regularly as he's not our cat. What he does get is any trimmings and offcuts - if he's quick enough to beat the magpies.

One thing he absolutely adores is bits of chicken carcass from the soup. I think he can smell me making the soup from miles away :heehee:. Once the soup got going properly he turned up and patrolled up and down the patio outside the kitchen, miaowing loudly, and staring up at the window. This rarely works because he turns up too early. So he plonks himself down at the back door and looks forlorn and sad :noidea:. It usually works :snork: He sat there in the rain yesterday!

Mrs Shiney is off to see 'Yes, Prime Minister' today. I can't go as I have meetings.

Keep well and have a good day

    Aloha!

Sorry WOO you are under the weather, I am suffering too but if you give in I think you feel worse. Am pushing on here as best I can. Have hovered around apart from my bedroom which badly needs doing but will give it another go once I rest my back a bit. Do take care of yourself and I wish you better soon.

Good morning everyone, well what I have deleted from my pc seems to have done the trick, no more blue screen so far. Wish I had saved my £40 on a hoover out job, I could have easily done that myself.

WOO hope you are feeling a bit better today. I am waiting for the sky to lighten up a bit before taking Amber out for her walk.
Have a good day everyone, Stay warm and dry, God bless. :wub2:

            Morning all,:spinning:

Oh, Mr woo, and all the others suffering, I am sending you this :grphg::imphrt:.

Well, the car passed it's MOT and had a service, but what a performance. Because this
was the first time since I bought the car last year, I decided to use a garage nearer to home,
well, suffice to say I shall not be using them again.:wallbanging: Eventually after 2 telephone
calls, I got the time to go and collect the car. I took it in for 8.30am, and I picked it
up at 4.30pm. It did not come back from the MOT until 1.30 p.m !! Then there was some
dispute over a tyre, was it to be replaced or not?. Did brake pipe:scratch: need replacing?
Then when it came to pay the bill, it turned out that I had only had a normal and not
full service as requested, :mute::mute::mute::mute: were said. On top of that I had headache, my husband
was causing a few problems, and the dog was not happy either.:help::help::help: Get me
            out of this mayhem:runforhills:

Right, so today I am having a blood test, and going back to the garage that supplied
me with the new battery 2 months ago. Yesterday, I was told that it was registering
61%. and going to market. Lets see what happens:whistle:

Right off to have my glass of water, as I am on a fasting blood test.:eeew:

            :imphrt::imphrt::imphrt:

We got a lot done in the garden yesterday :blue thumb:. Although I had problems with my neck and knee I felt a lot better afterwards. :)

For absolutely no reason at all :heehee: here are a couple of 50 year old pictures (just converted them from slides) of Mrs Shiney and her pets.

                    Good morning everyone,

Just waiting for it to get light before taking Amber out. Steve went fishing just after 6am again this morning even though he didn't get in from fishing until gone 7.30 last night and then had to cook up another load of bait for today. It keeps him happy.

That was some hurricane that hit Mexico late yesterday. Thankfully they were well prepared for it.

WOO hoping you are feeling much better today. Liked the photos of H's chooks Shiney.
Have a good day everyone, stay warm and dry. God bless.:wub2:

                      Good Morning All,

Overcast here today, but it's not cold.
I cooked a batch of spag bol last night, I've put that in the freezer this morning, looks like I've got another busy week ahead of me so wanted to have some meals prepared for when I get back late & can't be bothered to cook! I cooked a batch of chicken chasseur & some shepherds pies last week so I'm ahead. Won't need much in the way of groceries this week.
I've got quite a lot of cutting back & leaves to clear up in the garden, I hope I can get that done tomorrow.
Have a good day everyone & I hope everyone's feeling much better. :grphg:

Fed up this morning  . Bit of a bad day yesterday with personal problems, and it has
                              made me a bit depressed.

Maybe a bit of retail therapy today, even if only to get out and get some fresh air.

Hope you all have a good day, albeit a chilly one at the moment, hope it gets a little
                              warmer today.
