Was up early this morning, around 4.30am ish with chronic Tinnitus in my right ear and it is doing my head in at the moment as it is overcoming the normal noises that mask it:sad: It started this time on the day we got back from our holiday in September and has been constant every day since:frown:

Anyway as rain was forecast we popped down to feed the kitties I am looking after and then drove to Mr T's shop and did some shopping and actually didn't spend as much as usual which was very good for us and even used £8 worth of receipt vouchers that had to be used before Monday and then they told us on our receipt that we had saved another £15 compared to other shops:hapydancsmil:

By the time we left the shop it was raining so got wet packing the shopping in the car before going round to the garage part and filling up with Diesel which was another £53 gone from my purse:yikes: Back home we packed the shopping away and had a nice hot drink before popping to Beckworths and got Mr Kandys sister an Orchid and glass pot for her retirement prezzie:biggrin:

Once home we had some lunch and did a few odd jobs while it rained outside.Once the rain stopped we got ready and drove to Pitsford waters had a nice 4mile walk along by the water. We got caught in some heavy rain so had to stand under a tree while it lashed it down:snork:

A quick walk back to the car and then homeward bound. After changing my coat for a dry one I drove back to feed the kitties one last time while the dinner was cooking.Enjoyed our meal and then I settled down to watch the film Australia.(Missed the first ten minutes as didn't know it was on) Very sad film at times and I didn't realise it went on for over three hours but well worth watching and when we got to the very last minute of the film I realised that the very end of the film was the bit I saw when it was first shown years ago:snork:

Just watching George Clarks Amazing Spaces again as Mr Kandy missed it last week:biggrin:

          Amen:smile:

We went up to the big City yesterday :). The journey wasn't too bad. Our train was on time, very comfortable, quite and a smooth journey.

Negotiating the Underground was the usual crush but still quite good. Their trains are definitely not as comfortable as main line trains but do the job adequately. It was rather warm down there. We didn't have to stand as people now give up their seats for us! :old:

We saw all the fun and games of the visiting NFL and watched their marching band - excellent. Regent Street was closed in order to accommodate everything tht was going on there.

Then we had a lovely meal with family (the purpose of going up there) and the journey home was just as good. Fortunately I only had to do a very little window shopping as Mrs Shiney just looked at some things and said "too expensive". :phew:

Sounds like a lovely day Shiney. Good family gatherings are a treasure.

For me today the continue saga of now of "the room" moving the stuff back now and sorting as I do. Have to throw out stuff. Nice weather today, do have a few garden things quickly to attend to as winter is fast approaching.

I had a rare appointment with my Doc today...........he seemed in the the best of health to me:dunno::heehee:
After that we got down to him sending me for an X ray at the Local Infirmary,[in the next town], so I went straight there and got booked in at 0910. Even though there was around 30 people in the Waiting Room I was called within 15 minutes and 20 minutes later it was all done...............service par excellence. The Radiologist and I were obviously of the same ilk as we kept swapping jokes and black humour all through the session and the nearby Nursing Staff were laughing while we did:hate-shocked::heehee: So it made things go quicker!!

Got my tyres balanced so that my front end would stop bouncing, tomorrow I get undercoated so my chassis will stop rusting, Wednesday I'm going to have my emissions checked... sure hope I pass the test and don't have filth puffing out my exhaust...:heehee:

We had to call an ambulance at work today, someone took a bad turn, it was really scary, but I have to say just how lucky we are in the UK to have our health service. The paramedics were outstanding, the care, the dignity, the professional service they gave was absolutely remarkable. :blue thumb:

Well, I had new head lamps installed and I was worried they'd get knocked uneven...

Wouldn't want this Lorrie running down the road with one lamp lower than the other now would we.....:heehee:
