        Picked enough for a single meal from just one plant about a week ago, being the only plant out of 100 to do so, being far too late for seed saving, maybe I should've marked the plant and saved the roots for re-planting/re-selection/seed saving next year to see if it would do the same.

        Runner Beans grown from re-planted roots will grow true, so if you get one that produces beans you really must save seeds from, but fail to do so, overwinter the roots.

          Had them for tea and they were surprisingly succulent, still some more coming a long

            Do you overwinter them in pots or leave them in the ground?
