Good morning everyone, it is really foul out there at the moment and I am not looking forward to walking Amber in it either.
Have a good day all, take care, keep warm and dry and above all safe and well, God bless. :wub2:

The rain is gushing off the roof so hard that I've taken the hanging baskets down. The gutters couldn't cope and it was pouring onto the pansies. It's surprising how heavy the baskets get when full of water!

          Good Morning,

Quite a miserable day here, grey & pouring with rain but it's very mild & the fog has gone thank goodness. :dbgrtmb:

I've got a couple of hours free this morning so I'm going to do a bit of washing & have a tidy/clean up before I go to work. :coffee: I'm having a cuppa & a sit down first! :heehee:

The hens are refusing to go under their covered area, as a result they are wet & look like drowned rats! :heehee:

I hope you are all feeling well? :blue thumb:

Enjoy your day everyone, I shall pop out shortly to do a little sundance :hapfeet: thought I'd wear my bikini & wheelies! :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

I assume you mean wellies Beckie. Or have you got a thing about bins? :heehee:

My day off today, looks like a wet one so a good day to do some housework and listen to the cricket. Hope you are all well, enjoy your day. :)

Yes I can :blue thumb: I have extremely sensitive hearing and can hear bats :noidea:. When we first had a burglar alarm fitted I had to call them back in to adjust the sonic part of the alarm

                          Good morning everyone,

Well have walked Amber and it is not too bad out there. Steve is rather anxious a group of about 20 of his friends from Ramsden Heath and Wickford Area all flew out to Sham-el-Shek over the weekend and now are grounded there until they decide what to do about the 20k Brits that are still out there. If it were me I would try to get myself onto a Paris flight and come home that way but 20k is a lot of people to airlift home. I think air travel is going to become an even bigger problem as time goes on unless something is done seriously about these ISIS groups.
Have a good day everyone, stay warm and dry and above all safe and well, God bless. :wub2:

                              Good Morning Folks,

I'm feeling a bit anxious this morning :yikes:, we are booked to go to Sharm El Sheikh next month :hate-shocked:, I've contacted the travel agents to see if I can change my destination, I can't as yet because rightly so the priority is to get the 20k Brits home, then they need to analyse the situation & make a decision regarding the safety & security of sending more Brits to Sharm. I really do feel for the Brits who are stuck out there & of course I feel sad for the people who have their holidays cancelled, it's such a shame . I feel really sad for the staff & owners of the hotels etc.
On a happier note it's very mild here, the leaves are falling off the trees, the autumn colours are spectacular :). My hens are free ranging today! :chicken:...gawd knows what they will dig up today!
Kev is really busy at work,:phew: I've not seen much of him this week, we are like ships that pass in the night! :th scifD36: One of the few times you will hear me say 'thank goodness for mobile phones!' We are communicating mainly by text message! :rolleyespink:
I hope you are all ok, I wish you all a pleasant day with sunshine this afternoon

@Beckie76 Either everything will have been sorted out OK or the holidays will have been cancelled and something else offered. So you needn't worry at the moment. I think that our security people are checking that their people know how to deal with the baggage properly. They'll probably have some of our experts there working with them.

We're off to Turkey shortly, which also has some problems. :noidea:
