    Temp dropping here, might be getting our first frost tonight. I'm kind of hoping for one, so that the Cannas get burnt off ready to store for the winter and also to kill off the pesky mealy aphids on my brassicas.

      The temp has only dropped to 6C at the moment so I don't think we'll even get a frost here never mind snow! :rolleyespink: It's very windy though.

          It's a lovely sunny day but a breezy and chilly 4.4C. The temp overnight dropped to 3.5C which is the coldest it's been this autumn/winter.

              It was 1c here, at 9am this morning. We have had various combinations of rain, sleet and snow. Then five minutes ago, the sun had just broken through. Next band of sleet due to come through in about 2 hours time, so Ive topped up the bird feeders during the lull!

                Cold, sunny and windy, the gales have subsided to just very windy, Max 6c.

                  Very windy here today, my Cannas blew over and some of the containers on the front steps. Didn't get the frost last night, but more likely tonight as it has already dropped to 1C at 17:30.

                      Absolutely fine, cold and sunny this morning with the temperature never above 34f. I drove to Warwick today and found the morning Sun to be low and shining into the eyes making driving less enjoyable. On the way back home the temperature went up to 37f with the Sun still out with hazy blue skies, and the driving was more enjoyable. Right now the temperature is 28f, below freezing, with a pressure reading of 1022mbs.:coffee::snork:
