Recently had this situation. We have an answering machine for our home number. So a computer message from a health insurance has been left on our machine asking (some other name person) to call them, (not us) and not our health insurance company. So after about 4 days of this, I called the number---mission to report to them the wrong number and the wrong name so they would correct it. So finally I get a real person, and after the story told, she says, "this department does not handle that issue".. "you have to call such and such department". So I tell her its out of the goodness of my heart that I am spending my time on the phone waiting for a "real" person to answer and I have to spend more time finding another "department" to tell them, why do'nt you call the other department and tell them. so I hang up and leave --got to get to work. A few days go by, more phone calls on my machine. so I look up another phone number, this time---I find the right one and get a nice person and we are done. The system is nuts, everyone is so in pigeon hold, shame.

My one for today is... Driving instructors that decide that the 20 mile long busy single carriageway that I have to use to get to work is a good road to take a learner onto, at peak time.

I wouldn't mind, we've all been learners, but this particular learner was clearly not ready. Maxing out at 40mph on the clear straights, dropping down to 20mph for everyslight bend. The whole stretch of road has a 60 mph limit.I was 10 minutes late as a result.

Well, if you want to know, I pushed the end and it sprayed all over the wind screen and the wipers did their thing. So then I gave it a good twist and the thingie at the back window waved at me but no cleaner accompanied the wave.

I'll go try different manupulations tomorrow...:)

Thanks for that technical scientific explanation, Lori:heehee: You might have to "twist" and depress the stalk at the same time.......either that or the spray nozzle is blocked. The same water bottle/tank that supplies the windscreen with water will also supply the rear window.:snork:

Sometimes you just have to do it for longer. The pipe to the back window is much longer than the one to the front, and if it hasn't been used for a while it dries up, so it needs a bit more time to work through.

See, a serious answer, no innuendos in there at all.

My friends car had a problem with the back window washer, she couldn't understand why the back window never got any washer water on it or why her clothes she had left in the boot for months were going mouldy! The pipe had split, obviously it was dripping into the boot space, just give the boot space a feel @CanadianLori, if it's wet this could be what's going on? :blue thumb:

The water comes from the same water tank and it uses the same pump as well, the pump goes clockwise for front windscreen and anti clockwise for rear windscreen
