My piano playing... why can't they come up with a piano that plays what you want to hear instead of the notes you're actually hitting..... reminds me, got to start practicing Christmas songs. My favourite for the little ones is the old "Chipmunk Song".

In Milton Keynes, there was a piano sat there in the shopping centre, playing itself perfectly :blue thumb:.

How about when scrolling down a page, but hitting that bloody clock which windows insist on putting in the bottom right hand corner .
Also, unintentionally clicking on an advert which is so close to the button you intended to hit ! Strategically placed me thinks . Annoying !

It's a sad fact, Redstar, that the Global Media does hunger, seek and grasp the most spectacular and negative news in their efforts to keep their audiences. Vehicular deaths, suicides etc, are far less dramatic so they don't get the attention that perhaps they should:dunno:
But, from this side of the Pond, it does seem to the rest of the World that School, College, Street shootings, are far more prominent in the USA, and that includes yesterdays shooting which killed 3 people, including a Police Officer, injured 9, in Colorado Springs. Shootings are rare in the UK, but they do happen. Most of our murders are caused by, it would seem, stabbings and most of those by youths. In the main, our Police are not armed although there are far more Armed Response Teams in our cities than there used to be.
We lost a Policeman this year who was reportedly run over by a vehicle trying to break through a road block and that was tragic, but it is a very rare occurrence.
According to one of our National newspaper's there were 994 mass shootings in the USA in 1004 days. But the actual number of gun incidents so far during 2015 in the USA number 47, 673 with the number of deaths at 12, 032, and the number of injuries around 24,380. More tragically the number of children killed or injured stands at around 638.
So perhaps you can understand why there is a view, outside of the USA, of an excess of gun violence, senseless shootings, and perhaps a denial of the lack of gun control in the USA. Obviously, the eagerness of anti gun associations and the Media to highlight such incidents and figures doesn't help but the incidents of senseless shootings, including perhaps the Law Authorities, seem to be relentlessly unending to those people in Countries where guns are under strict control.

In general Humans souls are sick, they lack the grace and love that God can only give. They show their sickness in animal abuse, family abuse,(physically and mentally) wars, harming mother nature, etc. And until people see the love that God gives to all will any and all instruments will be used for destruction.

I saw some boots today that were lace up, but they also had a zip up the sides, so once laced up, there was no need to ever undo them :)

I too am one of those that believe in no deity. I do lead my life in a manner that is kind and fair and ethical. in actions, every day.

Guess I'm hedging my bets, just in case :heehee:

Don't worry redstar, I will find that road rage guy and give him a lecture. Gee, one bad apple in a population of 4 mill...

I love running across to the US and I have visited some 100 or so times in the past few years. Only saw road rage a couple times,no biggee. And for the most part people are kind enough to keep their religious views to themselves except for this embassador of The faith, and I love it! What is more fun than this? This is a church in Niagara Fall, NY. I must remember to drop off a donation. Seriously. It always delights me to see this. Not kidding, like to see this kind of devotion to one's beliefs. Silent, but powerful. Good for them!
