Our kitchens are practically twins- I chose white cupboards as well -- OH and I had a big argument at the time we built it (we did the renovation ourselves) - he wanted bleached oak which was "in" at that time - glad I won ...:) My mixer is in the bottom cabinet left of the oven. I have an appliance lifter to bring it up to counter height. White kitchens!.jpg

I probably should keep my mixer on the counter too. That would remind me to use it more - but then I would need to go out and buy bigger trousers..:heehee:

Your posts made me hungry so I just had some toast with my lemon/lime marmalade.

Like your new mixer, @wiseowl !

May I ask what the black attachment (on the left on your handy shelf) is for? I only have the three metal ones with my model (K, balloon and dough hook). I must admit I keep the attachments in the bowl, so to use, I pull forward the mixer, open it up to take out the attachments, and put in the ingredients!

Good morning @Sian in Belgium my friend it is a Flexi K beater made of silicone it cleans the bowl round the edges and the base of the bowl,I always use it for Cakes and sponges(softer mix),I use the metal K Beater for pastry which doesn't tend to stick to the sides of the bowl:smile:
