Good morning all, hope this morning finds you all a lot better healthwise.

Not quite light enough to take Amber out yet and she hasn't eaten her breakfast, I wonder why?

        Good Morning All,

I've had a lot going on this week :phew:, mainly work & trying to please a tenant who has a drama about nothing every other week, I've been quite stern this time, I think they realise they are walking on thin ice! :paladin:

We can finally have a refund for our holiday :hapydancsmil: I've been trying to find an alternative hotel but there's not much avalible now & what is avalible is three star rating, I'm not happy to go to those. Anyway it's not a problem I can spend sometime at home, there's plenty of gardening to do & jobs in the house which could be done. :) And needless to say the hens will keep me amused for hours!:chicken:

The sun is shining here which is lovely to see, it's a it on the chilly side.

I hope you are all ok?

@shiney I hope the school mums aren't rude & you have no trouble from them :paladin:

@liliana please get well soon my friend :grphg:

:grphg: For all of you :) have a good day :hapydancsmil:

          Good day everyonee

          ta for the tea, Q

Liliana, I hope you are starting to feel better. Pleurisy is painful!

Shiney, do let us know how it goes with the yummy mummys- that's what we call mums who seem to only give birth to precious little ones who aren't capable of walking on their own or doing any un-organized leisure activities. I hope there's no nasty confrontational elements to park patrol

I've got to get some money making work done today so will be starting up the boiler iron soon - it holds 7 liters of water and takes some time to get up to pressure.

          Hugs to all

            Thanks everyone,

When I turned up at 11 a.m. there was already one vehicle in the car park. I recognised it as the car of someone who is in the pre-school with her disabled tot. So I went to the school to ask them to get her to move her car. They weren't very helpful until I said that I don't really care but she won't be able to get out of the car park until 5 p.m.

They backed down and got her to come out to the car. She is a very nice person and said that she's allowed to use the car park because of her child. I told her that I knew that but the barrier would be locked until 5 p.m. and I didn't want her stuck in there. She thanked me and it was all very amicable.

Whilst I was out there the headmaster came out to the fence between the school and the hall. He asked me who I was and what the problem is. He was rather stern and I was quaking in my boots :heehee:. I said that there's no problem and I just wanted to make sure that the woman didn't get her vehicle trapped in the car park.

He told me that he had come out because he had overheard my conversation in the school and he couldn't tell by my voice whether I was angry or not. I told him that I never get angry but that I was in a hurry and his staff were being obstructive, so I had to convince them that I was only being a good Samaritan. He backed down and thanked me.

During the afternoon I had to deal with quite a few parents and stop them coming into the car park but I managed it without any unpleasantness. :blue thumb: It was easier later on because there are only 40 parking spaces and I had already squeezed 50 of my club members in there.

Just off for this afternoon's closure ready for their concert tonight.

              :coffee:Morning early people :)

Well done with the car parking @shiney

              Glad you'm getting a refund @Beckie76 :)

Also glad you enjoyed the tea @CanadianLori :coffee:

Dark cold and windy here, will be in the pill box most of today, probably with the fire on depending which way the wind blows :th scifD36:

Spent yesterday afternoon digging 3 barrows of leafmold out of Thomas Hardy's outside loo. Not many folk can say they've done that

Have a good day everyone and don't judge a book by it's cover :)

                    Aloha everyone,

Although yesterday started off quite frosty the sun soon started to make a good impression on everything. I started on cutting back the big grasses and a lot of the crocosmia and filled two wheelie bins in an hour and put two giant barrow loads on the compost heaps.

Today is a more domestic chores day. Errands to run and people to see. Going into town for my annual dental check (it was the hygienists the other week), shopping, library and visiting. One of the girls that started working for me on school work experience is just coming up for her 50th birthday! :rolleyespink: Another has just celebrated her 60th. So I'm going to pop in to both of them at their work - two different towns.

Keep well and have a great day

                    Aloha!

Good morning everyone, Amber has just eaten her breakfast and is ready to go for her walk, unfortunately it is still a bit dark out there yet. If it gets much darker of a morning I shall soon be walking her in the dark as the poor lass cannot hold on forever although she could go out onto the patio to relieve herself, easy enough for me to clean.

Lili hope you are measurably better this morning, really worried about you. Shiney glad the car parking episode went well.

Have a good day everyone, stay warm and dry and above all safe and well.
                      God bless. :wub2:

I hope you are all well. :)

After a very dark start here, we seem to have a pleasant day :dbgrtmb: weather wise.

The hens are knocking on the cat flap! They obviously fancy a treat! :)

I'd better get a move on I've just looked at the time.

                          Enjoy your day everyone :hapfeet:

                            Good day everyone,

ta for the extra large cuppa, Q :)

It is still dark here but only 22 more days and it will be the same as today but moving in the positive direction :) It also going to be another cloudy day and therefore a good one to be paid to work inside. I do have a little driving to do as well. And lucky me, it will all be to my benefit.

Liliana, I am glad you are on the mend.

I hope everyone has a super rest of the day.

                            hugs all round,

Good morning all, still very dark, not sure what the weather is like out there until it lightens up a bit. I think Amber is going to have to wait even longer for her walk this morning, poor little sausage. Still there is always the patio and she has an access flap.
Have a good day everyone, keep warm and dry and above all safe and well, God bless. :wub2:
