    ....thread of possible interest. :)

As it's a bit quiet on here, I thought I would add this. Just a thread for anything random that you think may interest or inspire others. Video or text. Here are a couple from me.

The 2 twins are great, and have superb sync. They are pro dancers and act too.
They were part of the 4 dancers which did the 02 arena for The Pet Shop Boys concert, and their dancing skills blew me away.

The drummer is just pretty cool. He really goes for it towards the end.
If I tried throwing the sticks even once, I would drop them :snork:. He does it constantly :)

Just wondering if anyone believes in ghosts? or......some form of life after death?
      Have you had an experience?
I definitely believe in something after we pass. I can't see how an energy can just suddenly become nothing :noidea:

I don't want anyone to think I'm a nutter! :heehee: But yes I do believe in something, I'm not saying ghosts exactly but I've had some very strange happenings over the years! When my nan was very poorly my grandad (who had passed years before) sat on the bottom of my bed & held my hand, he spoke to me & said I didn't have to wait much longer & I was doing a grand job, the next day my nan passed. I don't know if that was imagination or not.
At my mothers house (where I lived part time from age 5) had a mirror in the bathroom sometimes when you looked in it you could see another blurred reflection, I wasn't the only person to say that! Again I can't be sure but God that house was really creepy!
A friend lives in a really old house, it has two staircases, one staircase is fine but the other is weird I definately saw a monk walk across the landing one night...no I hadn't been drinking!the house had been used years ago by the monks walking from Claire village to Denston village church, I had no idea of this until I told her what I'd seen, she just smiled & said 'yes he's been here years, nothing to be afraid of! I've never been to her house after dark since!
A work acquaintance lived in another old house, it was beautiful & I really loved going to see her, one day I was there & we went into the dining room & I swear to this day something walked passed me I felt the wind and smelt perfume, the hairs on the back of my neck literally stood on end I freaked out so much, I had to leave the house I was so scared, I didn't go back for ages, hubby came with me next time I went & he said the dining room was really odd he also felt something. Years later they put the house on the market it took months to sell because the dining room felt wrong & many women said it was haunted & they could feel a horrid presence! the house has since been blessed! :hate-shocked:

That all sounds pretty scary to me @Beckie76
I would poo my pants if I saw an apparition, or maybe even find out what is after death first hand :hate-shocked:

Really liked the dancers NG , very polished act :dbgrtmb:
I'll pass on the drummer . Really do not want drum solos to come back in fashion . They were so popular in the sixties for some strange reason. Sandy Nelson let there be drums - awful. Then again we had whistling ! I was Kaiser Bills Batman by Whistling Jack Smith , I think . Whistling did make drum solos sound a better choice though
              Unbelievable performance from him :snork:

There ain't no such things as

                    ghoulies and ghosties
                    And long-leggedy beasties
And things that go bump in the night,
                    Good Lord, deliver us!

                    :dunno:

"What a happiness this must have been seventy or eighty years ago and upwards, to those chosen few who had the good luck to be born on the eve of this festival of all festivals; when the whole earth was so overrun with ghosts, boggles, bloody-bones, spirits, demons, ignis fatui, brownies, bugbears, black dogs, specters, shellycoats, scarecrows, witches, wizards, barguests, Robin-Goodfellows, hags, night-bats, scrags, breaknecks, fantasms, hobgoblins, hobhoulards, boggy-boes, dobbies, hob-thrusts, fetches, kelpies, warlocks, mock-beggars, mum-pokers, Jemmy-burties, urchins, satyrs, pans, fauns, sirens, tritons, centaurs, calcars, nymphs, imps, incubuses, spoorns, men-in-the-oak, hell-wains, fire-drakes, kit-a-can-sticks, Tom-tumblers, melch-dicks, larrs, kitty-witches, hobby-lanthorns, Dick-a-Tuesdays, Elf-fires, Gyl-burnt-tales, knockers, elves, rawheads, Meg-with-the-wads, old-shocks, ouphs, pad-foots, pixies, pictrees, giants, dwarfs, Tom-pokers, tutgots, snapdragons, sprets, spunks, conjurers, thurses, spurns, tantarrabobs, swaithes, tints, tod-lowries, Jack-in-the-Wads, mormos, changelings, redcaps, yeth-hounds, colt-pixies, Tom-thumbs, black-bugs, boggarts, scar-bugs, shag-foals, hodge-pochers, hob-thrushes, bugs, bull-beggars, bygorns, bolls, caddies, bomen, brags, wraiths, waffs, flay-boggarts, fiends, gallytrots, imps, gytrashes, patches, hob-and-lanthorns, gringes, boguests, bonelesses, Peg-powlers, pucks, fays, kidnappers, gallybeggars, hudskins, nickers, madcaps, trolls, robinets, friars' lanthorns, silkies, cauld-lads, death-hearses, goblins, hob-headlesses, bugaboos, kows, or cowes, nickies, nacks [necks], waiths, miffies, buckies, ghouls, sylphs, guests, swarths, freiths, freits, gy-carlins [Gyre-carling], pigmies, chittifaces, nixies, Jinny-burnt-tails, dudmen, hell-hounds, dopple-gangers, boggleboes, bogies, redmen, portunes, grants, hobbits, hobgoblins, brown-men, cowies, dunnies, wirrikows, alholdes, mannikins, follets, korreds, lubberkins, cluricauns, kobolds, leprechauns, kors, mares, korreds, puckles korigans, sylvans, succubuses, blackmen, shadows, banshees, lian-hanshees, clabbernappers, Gabriel-hounds, mawkins, doubles, corpse lights or candles, scrats, mahounds, trows, gnomes, sprites, fates, fiends, sibyls, nicknevins, whitewomen, fairies, thrummy-caps, cutties, and nisses, and apparitions of every shape, make, form, fashion, kind and description, that there was not a village in England that had not its own peculiar ghost.

Nay, every lone tenement, castle, or mansion-house, which could boast of any antiquity had its bogle, its specter, or its knocker. The churches, churchyards, and crossroads were all haunted. Every green lane had its boulder-stone on which an apparition kept watch at night. Every common had its circle of fairies belonging to it. And there was scarcely a shepherd to be met with who had not seen a spirit!"

I put it down to the fact the local Pubs made their own brew in those days.:dunno::heehee:

I dont beleive in any ghosts, spirits, souls or anything

I see our brains like a computer once its fails we just die that is it there is no more and the energy we leave behind is in heat through cremation or decomposition etc and our bodies help feed the earth and nourish the soil and help life continue that way.

I know lots of people find the thought of heaven and an afterlife comforting etc i personally find thinking when im dead im just dead is far more comforting. Altho i dont want to live forever and couldnt care less when i die and im not scared of death so that might be why.
