Must get her out though as it is not the same as a good sniff around even if mum is shivering and cold waiting on her every sniff.

It's supposed to be grey here as well for the next week or so, I guess we might as well have grey days since they are so short anyway.

Back to cookie baking in a bit. Looking forward to decorating later as I have a few fun ideas I want to try. If they work out the way I would like, I will try to take a picture and share it.

Think I'll pop in some bread dough too and get the house smelling nice to offset the gloom outside and maybe make a sandwich as listed in that menu. Perhaps I too will need to visit an outlet store - to get some stretchy trousers in case this pace of eating keeps up

Good morning all, thankfully there is only one more week of getting darker mornings and afternoons before they start to draw out again. Shiney, I take it you enjoyed your lunch out.;
Zig how you cope with no electric beats me. Reminds me of my childhood, I was 10 when we first got electric on and 8 when we got running water rather than drawing from the well. Times change we are spoilt to a large degree now.

Fancy Loli being given a stray hen, bet she was well pleased and I hope it has settled in with her others. I wish she would come back to the forum.

Good day everyone. We too are having clouds to go along with the shorter days. Hey, we might as well take all the gloom and hopefully when the days get longer we'll also have more sun.

Guess I'd best get to work here. I want to get finished early so I have time to decorate my men. Gingerbread men that is.
