Speaking of picky food eaters. I once broke up with a guy who was so dam picky with food. I just could not see continuing the relationship. Because selfish me, I love to expand my food knowledge and make/bake interesting unique products and felt he would just hold that back. Then the poor guy I introduced him to a female friend of mine who is more tolerant of craziness like that, they got married, and now celebrate 30 years of bliss.

Standing in the check out line at the grocery yesterday I watched as a woman took a magazine off the rack and flipped through it, licking her fingers to aid in page turning and then put it back when it was her turn to cash out....:eeew: I asked why she didn't buy it after sullying it with her germs... she said :mute::mute:

I am afraid I am one of those crazy people who don't like Chinese,Indian,Cantanese, etc or a lot of types of fish or meat like offal or coffee, lemons, grapefruit, lychees,Whiskey,Brandy,Rum, Baileys :yikes:but then it wouldnt do if we all were the same and had the same likes in food and drink:snork:

I am afraid that free loaders that we know wouldn't even consider buying their own drinks if we all go out for a meal because they just take the credit card that is offered to them and pay for it that way so it is a free meal and drinks for them and for their kids as many times as they can get away with it.

In one way I am glad that I wasn't born with the mean gene but then again having thousands in the bank to count can't be a bad thing either I should imagine:mute:

People who do not slow down when approaching pedestrians on narrow country roads where there are no pavements. Total morons!

I'd extend that to people who drive to fast on country roads whether anyone else is there or not.

It says somewhere in the highway code, always drive at a speed such that you can stop in the distance you can see to be clear.

If your doing 60mph round a blind bend, you might be within the speed limit, but you can't stop within the distance you can see to be clear. If there's a pedestrian, horse rider, cyclist, broken down vehicle etc after the blind bend and your doing 60, you either hit the obstruction, or have to swerve, potentially hitting something else instead.

Went to a parents evening with my daughter who had a broken arm, teacher " her hand writing has deteriorated terribly" me " she has a broken arm" teacher " I asked her if she wrote with that arm" me " what arm do you normally write with before broken arm" daughter holds up broken arm, "but I can only write with the other one now" daughter like me is a very literal thinker.
