I share your pain. We got our two to bed by 8pm so that we could get everything wrapped and in place by a reasonable hour so we could get some sleep ourselves.

In addition to wrapping things up, I have to build a flat pack toy kitchen. I have no idea how long that will take. I wanted to start by 8:30 in case it takes ages, but CL1.1 is still awake, so he'll see me carrying boxes past his bedroom door. CL1.2 is asleep, but only just, and all the stuff is hidden in our room, which 1.2 still currently shares.

It's going to be a late finish I reckon.

Happy times Clueless! I'm so glad mine are past all that. My nine year old grandson made a discovery a few weeks ago (I'll leave you to guess) and he's sworn to silence now so he doesn't upset his five year old sister. They grow up to quickly!:)

1.1 is at a stage now where he's figured that most of the Santa's that he sees about are ' just someone dressed up as Santa', but I quite like that he still believesthere's a real one that is magic.

1.2 doesn't quite understand yet. He met Santa and when asked to tell his nanna afterwards who he'd met, he nonchalantly declared 'man'. He also amuses me because having seen real goats but only model reindeer, he is convinced that the goats are coming tonight, and even sprinkled 'reindeer food' on the lawn, for the goats :)

Thanks sheal,i doubt any kind of silicone mix is healthy for a prolonged time so i will let leave as kids do to dry out and then i will bin it!
I used to have to use wet silicone to connect yarn ends together for the bobbin kreels so i know from that it that its not entirely safe,Thanks for the link xx

A long time ago Naughty Santa arrived home at midnight, and built a Barbie house for the little children fast asleep
In the morning Daddy noticed stupid Santa had left a Barbie house with Ivy growing up the walls in the sitting rooms and bedrooms, and fire places and furniture hanging outside on the walls

                        Naughty Santa :-)
