          I've got 6in high spuds growing on my allotment from the usual ones missed at harvest.
          Dont usually see them till April.

                  Yes, the summer that kept promising to arrive.

                  it was great for working outside as it never got brutally hot but then the work didn't pay well. Puny peppers, etc.

                  When I started work outside last year, in some cases, I had to shovel some snow in order position the ladder.

                  Wonder what we're going to get this coming year..

                      Well for the most of July and the first half of August it wasn't too bad.
                      Not really a summer as such, but then cant really remember one since 2006.
