          Everthing is frozen solid in the garden,pond,palms in pots,garlic,and the now damaged lawn has my footprints all over it in the snow.

                      After a frosty start Some sunny spells but overcast now 3'c/38'f a low of -2'c expected tonight.
                      Could be worse, just to my brother in Canada and he say's it's abit chilly this morning on the way to work :yikes:

                        Light snow forecast for tonight, and temps staying low for several days, luckily (+ sadly) some friends have moved from the village this week to an exclusively gas centrally heated property and have given us all their wood and coal!

                        And I'm off to the South West on Monday, where temps should be several degrees higher, but have cut loads of wood today so Mrs Scrungee can stay warm whilst I'm basking in the 4 deg C or so heat in the SW.

                                The day started off cold but fairly bright with the temperature at 30f all day. Then in the afternoon the skies turned a smooth pearly grey that looked like it had been painted on. We had some slight drizzle, some hail, and now it has stay dry but cold.
                                The temperature has "rocketed" up to 33f, and it's still cloudy, with a pressure reading of 1027mbs.:coffee:
