        I think you've worked very hard on it and it looks really good. :dbgrtmb: You will have to keep us up to date on your progress through the year. Looks cold there today though! "snow plough"

            thank you, the pond is still in the planning stages and will be nothing like i first wanted, thinking it will be linked to the lawn and will be a raised sleeper pond roughly the same height.

              I also think i have lost the way with the Japanese garden and am leaning towards a more tropical garden with bamboo, palms, banana plants and ferns.

              But watch this space as this could change

                      wedding went great thanks, was looking for a break this year with no wedding to plan, but instead i have taken on a part time gamekeeper job as well as my normal job so will be fitting in the garden as and when

                        Glad you all had a good day i am sure you will find some time for the garden and a few nice wild flowers for it on your travels

                          so busy with life the garden has been left to its own devices,
                          today's project was to build a pallet couch for my new sitting area and i also bought some new tropical statues

                            had a delivery of some tropical plants today, so spent the night getting them in the right positions

                            my gunnera that i put in some wet ground on the shady side

                            the pallet couch is coming on slowly

                            next plan is to turn these

                            into a straight path from one end of the garden to the shed , this will also go over the pond

                              Not a lot done due to weather and family outings, but i did manage to start on the jungle footpath

                              Hopefully get the other side done this week, also think i'm going to run a few wires on the underneath to connect spot lights at a later date.
